My views from Google have dramatically fallen in the last three days as if Panda has been at it again, has anyone else noticed anything similar?   hmm

Mine started falling on Monday, but they are rising today.

My traffic was down Saturday, picked up Sunday.. what a surprise!  Usually Sundays are down.  Yesterday, it went down a little, and today it's holding.  No big ups or downs for two weeks now.

Odd - Sunday, Monday and Tuesday are nearly always my best days.

I'm still seeing a gentle but definite rise over time; nearly every day is just slightly better than the same day in weeks past.  It might be just 10 or 20 views, but it's better.

I'm on my third 'drop' - had three surges too! I expect to surge in about three days! LOL My bizarre traffic is getting a little predictable.

To be honest I think it'll be several months before things settle down - every tweak seems to be changing traffic patterns drastically. I am concentrating on the following, which I feel will help me out in the long run:

-Deleting or improving my poor quality hubs.
-Drastically reducing the number of ads - while the rule is one 'ad' per 50 words - I'm aiming for something more like every 500 words.
        -Adding summaries.

I'm just curious, why do you think you'll surge again in three days?  Are you seeing clear surge/plunge trends?  I am somewhat, but it's still fairly unpredictable.  I do love those surges, though!  smile

BTW, I'm also on my third cycle of this... in a plunge now.

There does seem to be a pattern emerging. I plunge for about 7-8 days, surge for four days and then plunge again - happened three times now....

LOL here comes the surge - right on cue!

We won't be settling down in several months lol, that will be around January/February time when everything plunges do to the aftermath of Christmas spending hmm I'm planning ahead for that now! I'm not getting too comfortable with my current earnings/traffic

I'm still in an awful plunge.  I have been for 12 days now.  sad

I give up trying to figure it out, but it's really frustrating!

The latest Panda run is 2.5 (28 September 2011, I think).  You can find out more in the following thread:

    http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/83974

My traffic has climbed since 2.5 but I know some people have had the opposite experience.

My views are staying in the same pattern, best on Saturdays and Sundays, falling through the week and picking up again on the weekend. No change here in the last three days.

My traffic started going down again, but I do not know if this is because of Google or search engine trends on my niches. My niches tend to jump way up in traffic then way down again..

OK here is an update; All day I have only gotten 2 views from Google and that's from all Google sites including international, when by this time I am usually at around 200. I have 18 from Yahoo search and 15 from Yahoo mail and others from other sites. So either I have been branded by Google or there is something happening with them. BTW it's 10:00 pm where I'm at......hmm

Wordscribe: the sad part is that if the pattern follows true then MOnday or Tuesday will be my next slump! I'll let you know!

searchmetrics.com has a way to check a site for Google Panda effects.

The latest Panda change was last Wednesday.  searchmetrics, which has been monitoring all of these changes and the effects on views, posted a list of the the latest big winners and losers.

HupPages was one of the winners in the latest Panda wars.

That site has a free way to type in a website address and get basic numbers and facts. To get more data, they charge an arm and a leg.
