I'm really confused about the contest. I understand it to be for 3 catagories, poetry, fiction and photography. I don't see anywhere where all the entries are, and only a few are listed as winning. We are 11 days into the month, and it looks like only about 10 people won out of all those categories? It should be 33 if you pick one from each category each day. I also saw on other sites they are telling people there is a contest going on for those 3 categories on HP. Is this contest only open to Hubbers, or anyone? I don't like to be on the forums much, they are so nasty. But in other contests we had a clear list of winners so at least we could read the competition.

If they're promoting it on another site, people who want to enter will still need to sign up for a Hubpages account.

And there is ONE random hub selected each day, so there should be 11 in total so far, I believe.

To see all the entries, click on the 'contest' tag. Then sort by date. That should work.

OK thanks, I misunderstood. I think it was too many categories at once.

I, too, am really confused by this one.

I *WANT* to submit one poem and one photo essay.

I* published them -  is that it???

You need to follow the directions here: http://hubpages.com/static/hubpatron_of_the_arts.php

You'll need to make sure they have the "contest" tag. And are at least 500 words...

That's no problem for a decent writer to accomplish.

You can write about who took the photos, where the photos were taken, what inspired you to take photos of those items, history of the photos/items in the photos.... there is a lot to choose from!
