Yesterday I found myself watching The Grinch Who Stole Christmas and during the commercial I wondered why I was watching this on TV when I have the movie on DVD.  But, there I am watching commercials.

Is that just me or do you find yourself watching movies on TV that you already own?

Ferris Bueller, for sure. That's my favorite movie of the 1980s. I love it and how much it's still so relevant 25 years later.

I love Ferris Bueller.  Matthew B has aged a bit, but not much, don't you think?

I started to watch Casino on TV and then the bleeping started.  I immediately turned off the TV and grabbed the book instead.  I'd imagine I'd do the same for Goodfellas, such a great film, curses and all.

Ya, if I stop to watch it on TV it has to be uncensored or I may as well just pop in the DVD. You can't watch movies like that all bleeped and edited.

Even with DVR i always forget to ff past the commercials.  Have you ever noticed that they now air the commercials at a louder volume than the show you are watching?

Yeah I saw him in Tower Heist a couple of weeks ago and was almost tempted to yell out Bueller but yeah he does look older. But I guess 3 kids will do that to you.

I'm guilty on almost every count.  I bought the movies because I really like them but I'll watch them when they come on TV as well.  These include but are not limited to Ferris Bueller and Goodfellas.

Any of the Rush Hour or Rambo movies are ones that I have to watch on tv when they come, despite the fact that I own them all on dvd.
