Dear fellow Hubbers and Hubbinas
.. after 2 years on Hubpages, I am please to report I an only $90.00 away from my first Adsense payout!
As a result, I am thinking of compiling all that I have learned (should take long), and creating my very first website.
[bCan you suggest a lucrative topic/area of focus for my site?[/b]
They say to 'write what you know', but since I don't know anything, that would limit the content considerably.
Thank you for your feedback
Greek One
good idea.. as a Jets fan, i trust you would forward my URL to the team??
and each and every player on Twitter of course would know you ♥
Please adjust your rooting this week and turn your attention to the Giants .. ..may bring in some more of what you may want to aim for ♥
Then write about your struggles to learn things.. those are often the most interesting and useful hubs anyway because the things you misunderstand may well be the things that trip me up, too. If you write about it after you have become proficient, you'll have forgotten all those early misconceptions.
Experts often write lousy web pages for just that reason :-)
i dont actually 'struggle' though... I simply shun learning opportunities as the arise.
There is usually a sporting event I would rather watch on TV
I don't know much, if I did I would help you, honestly I would.
I remember you posting similar advice elsewhere sometime ago. Both then and now, I personally consider that "tidbit" of information pure gold!
It is a total, absolute win-win for both the writer and the reader.
Well, maybe I just like to think that because I get confused so easily :-)
I was thinking about doing something porn-based, but from past experience, people generally don't want to see me naked
Write about the topics people want to read about.
But from a personal perspective.
For example: My night of passion with two of the Kardashian sisters
The day I got asked to stand in for George Clooney
Thursdays with Maurie Pauvich
Along those lines. You probably have not had any such encounters. that's ok. Act as if!
MM, I would like to hear about your nite of passion with 2 of the Kardashian sisters!

I'd like to suggest we get rid of Hubber Score - and perhaps even Hub Scores. They:- are constantly misunderstood;- cause a lot of upset and grief in the forums; and- encourage newbie Hubbers to direct their efforts in entirely wrong directionsFor instance, I've known newbie Hubbers stop...

I have been thinking about leaving for a while, but I know that in those times I have had something else going on that depresses me a bit. It started when I lost my brother and I began to, somewhat, lose that oomph I had for writing and publishing here. What about you?

I like to check Hubpages on breaks at work. Now, I can't access my Hub feed because a Hubber chose to write a Hub about drugs, and Hubpages hasn't caught onto it yet. My organization is pretty fair on what it blocks/allows. Usually blocks things about gun violence, cults, and drugs. They also only...

I've been doing a lot of thinking about the types of services we offer Hubbers and how to help Hubbers improve.A few services that have been suggested- grammar and spell checking- suggesting edits- providing images/media upon request- formatting help (breaking hubs into multiple text capsules,...

I was reading this food blog today and was curious about the author. She has a really cool faq page and offers this advice.-----------I think the 3 most important things are to write about what you are passionate about, not what you think is “popular,” to write in your own conversational...
