Any Ideas??? What I did is created folders and saved the HTML files in these folders. Is this OK?
Well yes that is it. But to host you have to get a domain name from the provider and then get it hosted too and you are done! But are you sure you want only HTML files there??? Won't there be any business logic or database. Wont it be interacting with the users????
Well, THIS WEBSITE is what I am talking about.
I know most of the things with websites except how to create GROUPS and this only what I want to know here.
Hello Bro:
I want to create several HTML Pages for Several Groups like: Soldering, Electronic Components, Consumer Electronics and so on.... What I did is that created Folders with these names and saved the HTML files in them and uploaded onto the server. But I am not sure if this is the correct process.
So you've got them as directory folders, or do you want them as sub-domains?
eg:
http://www.electronicsandyou.com/soldering
http://www.electronicsandyou.com/electronics
http://www.electronicsandyou.com/consumer
...are directory folders. Just upload the folders and files. THOUGH... merely moving html files into folders won't work right. The links to other pages might break. Unless you've moved them within a program like Dreamweaver which can change the links automatically as they're moved.
Then there's also this:
http://soldering.electronicsandyou.com
http://electronics.electronicsandyou.com
http://consumer.electronicsandyou.com
...are sub-domains. If you've got cPanel with your webhosting that's easy enough to set up. You'd still the directory folder approach, and then fix the redirection in cPanel.
NONE. I know how to make sub-domain. I just wanted related pages in one group the way we do here at HP.
The method I used ( Creating Folders and Saving HTML Files in them) is the Correct method.

Thanks for your valuable time.
Looks like you have already setup the whole site. Now what?
Try using a PHP MYADMIN with MySQL. This way, you can create a database for any group you want, and have them filed away conveniently. Go to http://www.w3schools.com for tutorials. Good luck.

I save the HTML of articles to my hard drive and also backup onto an external drive, but my second backup is that the files on my hard drive are automatically uploaded to Google Drive. I tried opening the HTML of one today and the first problem is that the HTML file doesn't run off Google Drive so...

I give! I've searched the first 3 or 4 pages of "Getting Help" Forum and I've read the entire Link's Capsule section in the Learning Center (http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/using-hubtool). That Hub, by the way, has a large number of Quick Links in it. How do you create a list of topics...

This is something confusing that I have discovered. I normally backup the webpages of hubs and this creates a main HTML file and an auxiliary folder with the same name, containing java script files, .jpg files and .webp files. Now on one hub, I have 14 images, however there are only 7 JPG and WEBP...

Help! It says, "Highlight and copy the HTML below, then paste it into the code for your Web site." Well, I've copied it. Where do I paste it at?

Okay, I know, retard alert! I've been working on Hubpages for, oh my, a long time alright (5 maybe 6 years). I've created folders for my photo's in the past. I cannot, for the life of me. figure out how I did it?! My photo's are getting out of hand. I need to make more folders for...
