When answering questions in Hubpages, are we allowed to post links to Youtube videos. For that matter, it is correct to include links to other web pages or relevant hubs.

What the Hubpages FAQ has to say:

My Hub was moderated as overly promotional; what does that mean?
Purely promotional offers and Hubs designed only to promote other sites or businesses are not allowed. In particular, the following actions are likely to get your Hubs identified as overly promotional:

including more than 2 links to any one domain
linking to the same domain in the body of the text AND in an RSS feed
short "teasers" with links to "read more" at another site
linking to sites/pages/Hubs that are unrelated to your Hub's topic
including links to a page that contains largely the same content as your Hub
Please note that promotional links are links that you have any interest in promoting (your blog, your Website, affiliate offers, etc.). Links to well-known Web resources which you don't have any personal interest in (like Wikipedia, news sites, encyclopedias, open directories, etc.) are exempt from this limitation.

If your question is concerning answers in the question and answer section..
No you cannot have youtube links to answers. You could use them in your hubs, if you make a hub about the question.
You could provide a link to a hub that answers the question in that section.
    Hope that helps.

Thank you sofs. That was helpful. How about inserting links to web pages and other hubs (not mine) in answers in Q&A?

Sofs, where abouts did you find information that youtube videos can't be linked in questions?

When a Question requires it, I stick in links as part of a response, I wouldnt think twice about that links source being youtube.

Cant say I checked the TOS - but my sense dictates that youtube would quite frequently be the best answer!

Agreed. Unlike a site like Webanswers, where you get paid for answering and obviously want to keep people on site, we don't earn from questions. As long as the link isn't spam, I don't see any reason it wouldn't be allowed.

HubPages says this on Q&A section - "Questions can be answered in two ways. It may only require a short answer. If the response is requires greater detail, images, graphs, video, or even just a lot of words, you can click on "make a Hub about it"." That is it. Neither yes or no.

While browsing hubs, answers and forum posts, I got the impression that links are not allowed in answers. I often give links to relevant Learning Center hubs in my answers. I just wanted to know whether this is right. Hope someone could give me a clear answer.
