The last thread has gotten quite convoluted so I'm reposting some important information that I saw posted by Marisa Wright on that thread. Please note all bolding is my own.
[In reply to people suggesting tweeting the site to make people more aware.]
Think about it for a minute. How many people have ever heard of this site? What will they do when you mention it, even if you say bad things? Curiosity will win - they'll go and have a look.
99% of the world has never heard of this site, so let's keep it that way. On the internet, ANY publicity is worth having, even if it's bad - so don't feed this monster.
Remember, this site will never get traffic due to people choosing to visit the site - they'll get traffic via the search engines, and most people don't even look at the name of the site when clicking on a link. So telling people to avoid the site won't make a ha'porth of difference.
The rule here is - don't get mad, get even. The ONLY things that will work are filing a DMCA with Softlayer and filing a complaint through Google Webmaster Tools.

And never post a FULL URL pointing to the site, or it'll help the site rank better in search results. Just do what WryLilt did here: identify it so that we can discuss it, without giving it backlink juice.
(if you're trying to warn people about a copy of one of their hubs, you could break the URL at the beginning by putting a space between http and the colon.]
If you have been following the other thread on this, you will see that the site has changed their URL....thus creating a "new" site. It is my way of thinking that the complaints filed will not apply to this new URL. Any thoughts?
Should've repeated the OP to make sure...
Bumping this thread so people notice it - thanks for doing this Wry! People are still posting on the other threads without bothering to read, so let's hope they read this one.
To everyone who had published hubs from March 15, 2012 to date! Chances are, your hubs had been copied. This thread tells you WHAT TO DO!

I was wondering if anyone has made an account over at bigezine and started complaining there or posting bigezine articles about what they are doing on "their site"- Has anyone joined that site?

If anyone knows anyone on Squidoo can you let them know over their that Bigezine is copying their Squidoo lenses too? People put a lot of work into their hubs and lenses not to at the very least "be made aware of what is going on".

Usually I find a couple pieces of stolen article copy on different sites. Today, it's more than enough to make me comment here. HP notifies us, adds the complaint link, and the complaint file cut-paste copy but little else to build a brick wall against content thieves. For every click...

What's the hubpages view on copying free license text and passing it off as your own?Even if quoted, its duplicate content.. which I'm sure would be penalized.. but is it acceptable to do it in the first place?I was just looking at a hub by a constantly-complaining hubber - and her hub is 100%...

Is bigezine finally gone? I cannot find the site and so cannot file the rest of my complaints.I was trying to file a DMCA complaint against bigezine but can no longer get access to the site. Does this mean the site is now gone?
