      Aw, geez! Just what we need. I think we've seen the last of the days when one certain style or habit was required by all and those who provided it got the best traffic. We're gonna have to change it up all the time, from recent events.

   Hmm I guess this could be the skunk update I was waiting for (The black and white updates - get it? Like the panda and penguin). This new algorithm supposedly helps throw away the unwanted categories (Or you could say stink!)

   I really, really dislike when Google tries to guess at what I'm thinking. Sigh. Maybe that's one reason why I don't use Google as my search engine.     I do, however, like it when the search engine results show the question, "Did you mean [X]?" and then allows me to filter out the extra results they showed along with that supposition.

   Social network signals versus some second rate Siri copy.
   
   Desparate times for the ones trying to win this battle.

   As for those of us who long for the days when you entered a search and just got the results back - I wonder if that's all over now.

   Google's assumptions drive me nuts! It does not seem to realise that some people do search for foreign and/or highly specialised terminology. At times, it does not even bother to ask me "do you mean", but serves up a heap of rubbish relating to irrelevant "corrected" terms, based on the assumption I do not know how to spell.
   
   I've not yet found a way to force it to stop doing this. Unfortunately, Yahoo, Bing and DuckDuck Go are not useful either for the types of searches I need to do many, many times each day as a medical translator.
   
   To say nothing of the fact, I am still being followed everywhere by ads for solar panels, despite having searched for them, chosen a supplier and had them installed last February!

      I too am being stalked by adds about things I have already made purchase decisions on. Too bad we can't let Google know that so we can see add for things we might actually want.

   I've tried turning off all sorts of stuff, opening a different web browser on which I am not logged into Googlemail, setting stuff in Google itself as someone described here once. Nothing seems to stop the beast!
   
   How I long for the good old days when Alta Vista was in its prime and full Boolean searches on it actually turned up what I needed!
   
   And yes, I know Alta Vista still exists, but it's been totally ruined by Yahoo!

   I'd love to know how a computer can think more like a human.  The thing doesn't even have a sex drive.  I'm not being cute either.  That single factor has a major effect on what gets noticed on the internet and what does not.

   I hate all these changes that are going on. I just recently jumped into internet marketing and my hubs were starting to pick up. Now they just plummeted to a fraction of their daily views.
   
   This is the worst time for newbies like me . I wish Google would slow down and let me catch up with everything.
   
   My blog isn't doing too bad though but my hubs were doing so well the past couple of months and now all i see are blue arrows pointing downwards.
   
   I hope it gets better in the next couple of weeks.
