Dancing is a crime! That’s according to some New York City police officers who arrested a couple in their fifties because they were dancing while waiting for the subway. Reportedly, they had just gone to hear jazz at Lincoln Center. Afterward, in the subway station a musician was playing the steel band so the couple began doing the Charleston. They say police officers approached them and said they weren’t allowed to dance on the platform. Officers asked for ID, but when the woman could only produce a credit card that had her picture and signature on it, the cops ordered the pair to go with them. We just keep letting it happen, when are we as a united society going to say "ENOUGH"! Don't forget, the TSA now command's you to "Freeze", when it is yelled at you!    http://www.infowars.com/new-tsa-policy- … n-command/

      Hey Chris,

Use the HubPages search function and look for absurd or useless or stupid laws in effect across the U.S.

It's absurd. It is completely ridiculous.

I figured tyranny started truly on the day the Law of Vagrancy was put into place. wink

We are getting so wrapped up in this healthcare law, that we are not paying attention to the game they are playing on us. Just like the Kansas city shuffle, everybody looks right, while the government moves left. Huh, now it makes a lot of sense!

I think I will go plug myself back into the matrix. I liked it better when I had no idea what was going on around me.

NO, no, I like being awake.

I started telling my kids that very saying while they were just babies. My oldest (he is 8) is finally starting to apply it everyday. To bad everyone does not, or simply will not, apply such a simple yet powerful piece of advice.
