One of my commentors asked me how to print the recipe. She's right! We need an easy way that readers can do that!
I don't get it - we used to be able to print and there was even a very cool edit feature to print only what you wanted and there was even a format for three different sizes for the recipe print.
I don't know where this went. Without being able to print, how can I make the recipe in my old fashion kitchen?
Yes, I dream of having my touch screen in the kitchen but that is not going to be a possibility for a few years yet - unless my HubPage earnings sky rocket and Google loves me again like Google did when I first started - pre-Panda.
You can use the "Print" function in your browser (usually under the File menu). We have build into the page a special style sheet just for printing so that the page is laid out (and minus ads and such) optimized for the printer.
That's why removed the "Print" button. That, and the fact that the Print button was never clicked, and in our observations of users, 99% use the File > Print to print online pages.
What happens if someone tries to print a recipe and the hub includes a video? I wouldn't dare even try to print a page like that!
Actually, I must admit that if I use a recipe off the web, I just cut and paste the text into a new file for storing. Then when I want to use it in the kitchen, I write down the essential bits in pencil on a piece of scrap paper. I don't want to waste new paper and ink or toner on printing out a whole page in colour!!!
The print option I used by HubPages was so cool - you could delete any photo, any text, you could completely customize the print. I believe it also had an option for printing a 3 x 5 card but I never tried that format. It was completely customized - it was very cool. Much easier than cut and paste in my humble opinion.

I just modified the two recipe hubs I had to include the new recipe capsules, hoping they would look like all the other recipes that pop up in results, and maybe I have to wait a little bit of time, but...It only seems to show your picture in the search results if you have the image right at the...

I love to see what people were looking for when they found my hubs, it helps me choosing new titles and see which questions I left unanswered.I was hoping to see keywords under Traffic Sources, but I have to click on each hub and then stats, and then keywords.... quite a long process to check them...

I wonder if a "printer friendly" option might be possible for recipe hubs. I know it shouldn't be on all hubs, because of copyright problems, but sometimes, we want to try a recipe, but to print it out from the full hub often takes like 7 sheets of paper, including as it does all of...

I have a fair number of recipe Hubs and when they were on Squidoo, there was a print option available to readers. Is there something like that on HP?

There is a huge disparity between my Hub stats and my stats in Google Analytics. Hub stats shows me getting 300+ page views per day. Google shows about 20 per day. This disparity started around one month ago. I've been on Hubpages 5 years and never seen anything like this except for the...

I just wanted to make a suggestion to those that are working on making writing their career (even if you just do it for pleasure this is a good idea) -a good thing to do is to print out your hubs and put them in a binder. I am in the process of doing this now. It's good to have hard copies of...
