Adsense is changing over to eft for most places, including the us, and wont be issuing checks anymore. remember to switch over to eft if you dont want your account to freeze

Now if only Amazon would do the same. I live in Australia, and banking an Amazon check costs me up to $15 and takes up to 6 weeks. hmm

Yuuup! It is easier anyway. I don't mind this change. Thanks for reminding people who still get checks!

Direct deposit is so much more convenient any way.

They've put my account on hold.

They want me to supply the IBAN and BIC numbers for the account they have been paying into for the past year, but that bank is in Spain and I am back in the UK.

I suppose I could phone them and ask what these numbers are. I have no bank paperwork over here with me, but I do have their phone number.

That is a brilliant link, Marisa, thanks!!

I had no idea IBAN numbers were 'calculated'.

I went and got my bag and went through it, and I have no note of my bank account number. Its not even on my hole-in-the-wall card.

Guess I will have to phone them after all.

Izzy - maybe try emailing them?  I know there are a lot of hassles in trying to communicate across various borders.

Guess I need to find all the right numbers and get that in place.  It is indeed faster and easier, once we unravel the Secret Combinatiins & Numbers.

            It's easier to phone, honestly.

Plus I have this contract with Vodafone. I pay them £10 a month, they give me 100 minutes free calls to Spain.

Of course they are not free at all - they are 10p a minute, but that's better than 25p or 30p which I believe are the usual rates.

I was thinking that you could have the option to get paid with paypal or check I went to my adsense account and it seems you can still get paid by check.  I don't have a bank account and I use my husbands account to drawl money from paypal.  I wonder if I could use my husbands account to get paid with adsense would anyone know?

Once you give Adsense the account details, they make a test payment into that account, which you then have to tell them about.

Obviously any account you have access to, you can confirm the payment and that is all Adsense are looking for.

There is no reason why you shouldn't use someone else's bank account to collect those payments.

Or you could get your name added to your husband's account. Just a thought.
