Starting July my earning dropped....for October my earning is almost half lower than my  earnings in the months of june? what have I done wrong?my hubs were trending more these days more than it trended on the month of June where I have the highest earning? will a hub that got 100 score 3 times in a month has no contribution in my earnings?please share a link if this was discussed before..... although I am  not originally conscious about these things, it somehow disappoints me to see some figures dropped.

Yeah, it's really strange for that to happen. Over the last few weeks,  many Hubbers have been reporting lost earnings. The first I heard was the death of organic traffic here and the ghastly effect on good old revenues. I hope that Management will care to explain what's going on because it is so rampant now.

What were your earnings for those months?

My HubPages Ad earnings for October is 25% of my earnings in September. And more the first time in many months , I did not make an Amazon payout. I still could make the adsense payout with less than $10 coming from Hubpages this month, thanks to my Blogs and websites.   I am going to try driving social media traffic to my hubs as organic traffic has gone down tremendously. Thankfully I have more sources of income which will make up for the loss. I had a big chuck of money coming from my socia media projects and affiliate sales. Anyways, I have tremendous faith on HubPages  and know that this is a temporary phase for all of us which would pass soon.

This is the second time I came across this question. I think Hub pages should already step up and give us a clear explanation.

I agree with all of your comments on dwindling earnings and less traffic coming to our hubs. Please Hubpages, say something about this.

I also noticed that the Balance History in our Earnings page has not been updated yet. It usually gets updated showing the new total earnings 4 or 5 days after the last day of the previous month, in this case last day of October. It's already the 8th day of October and the Balance History has not been updated with my total earnings for October.

To all of our questions here, Is there someone from HP who would like to give the answers?

I'm wondering again why my earnings dropped 5 cents the other day and dropped  to another 4 cents yesterday!! Isn't our earning supposed to be increasing, not decreasing? I wish someone in authority from HP gives us the much-needed answers. Thank you.

Hi All. Apologize for the delay in responding to this thread. Please email payments@hubpages.com with specific questions about your earnings and balance history. The Forums are not the appropriate place to discuss individual earnings issues.

When HubPages experiences a drop in traffic, earnings drop across the board. There could be a number of reasons that your individual earnings are lower than you expect, but without looking at the specifics, it's hard to know what the explanation is. Shoot us an email and we'll get back to you within a couple of days. Thanks! smile
