        Hello General,
Long time since I've seen you here. If you would like additional help beyond the learning center hub, I wrote a "Non techie" version on creating referral trackers. The hub can be found on my profile. It gives examples of Sign up links as well. I'm having good results from my trackers and have 37 signups and some people who are actually writing hubs, 151 so far. It is encouraging to see that it works.

If you would like more help please send me an email. Would be glad to assist.

you want to go to the learning centre... http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/referral-program
it will tell you all you need to know, as well as giving the url that you insert your tracker into.

Thanks a lot sparkleyfinger I already did that but the number of my signup hasn't appeared yet or it is still zero... I might just repeat the whole process all over again...

    Thanks Simone for dropping by...

My signups are at zero too -- I think the person who signs up has to create a Hub within 30 days, if I'm reading the Learning Center entry correctly.  I'm still muddled about this too.

yeah i would think there would be a catch like that. No other website would give a fee for a referral without the referred person actually having undertaken something on the site first. I used to do a lot of surveys, and the referee had to complete a survey before you were credited.... same with secret shopping, the referred person has to complete a secret shop first, before you are credited. this must be the same, otherwise people could sign up with multiple accounts, and have idle accounts, and the referrer would still make money!

Generally, I don't refer people to a site unless they first show interest in doing it.. surveys or shopping or whatever....

          Ah, yes, here it is:

"Through this program, you can refer new writers to HubPages and if they become Hubbers within 30 days, you receive 10% of their Hubs’ lifetime impressions."

I would say that "become Hubbers" means composing a Hub.  I would not consider myself a Hubber, for instance, during my period of inactivity.

I have to start using my tracker... I think I'm beginning to see a glimmer of light here as regards the process, now that I've read the thing three times or so.  tongue

I believe I'll do the same.  I need to update my freelance page in any case, as there's a hub I wrote recently that isn't posted there.

perhaps there is a delay?? or the people who signed up may have to publish a hub or something??
