Im pretty sure Katie is spelled with a K... what you've got going there is probably just pronounced Catty... course maybe that's what you were going for.
Who are you talking to? Do you have an imaginary friend?

It is offensive to call a sock puppet a troll, dog. Didn't you appreciate the free editing of your incessant blathering?
Yes, but I don't really see what that has to do with this.
I don't think the problem is in identifying that there are bad hubs, the problem is in singling out any one group. And with all due respect Izzy, I don't know where you're from, but I can guarantee your fellow countrymen have already posted horrible hubs... which is the point. Good and bad comes from everywhere.
I think she is from Scotland - and they are terrible. The other day I pointed out to one he had spelt Haggis with three "G"'s - yep - "Ghaggis" and when I said "mate your a f'cking useless cont" he took umbrage and threatened me with a spelling competition on a public forum.
I said "no way you fecking Scots ba..." well you get the idea - and we had quite a set to.
Truth is his pages stunk of old pee and his, if he is a he which I doubt, pronounciation was probably awful. All Scottish sounding which means you cannot understand it unless you are pissed.
Now. Let me tell you about the Jews...
Ive never met a Ewbie I liked.
So Thomas, my thing here is... you seem to be upset with the admin, b/c they are allowing you to be accountable for your own words.
You apologized which I thought was quite impressive and humbling, but then every time someone rallies around your original msg. you say you stand behind what you said, every one just misunderstood. Then someone from India comes along and quotes you directly and one can see that it was clearly phrased in such a way that it would be extremely hard to avoid insult if you were from said country and the whole thing begins again. Why don't you just repost your original apology and let the chips fall where they may? Defending yourself only seems to bring dissension once again. Please understand, whether you meant to or not, you hurt a group of ppl with your words, something we are all capable of (especially, apparently Mark), if righting that wrong becomes your goal, let that apology stand or it wont ring true.
Why can't we all just get along?
Let me see if I have a racial harmony cartoon. This will do.
Me neither. But I read a page on it the other day - learned a whole lot about it. Come to think of it, I wrote the page. Still informative though.
Although...
Not sure how good my English was.
I would call you out on your English, but Ive seen what can happen.
I apologised for causing offense and wanted my post edited because the inability of this topic to die means it will continue to cause offense. But if someone understands and supports the original intent behind my words, of course I'll stand by them.
P.S. I've posted my apology twice. People don't read it.
What is that word.... the one that's like.... riding both sides of the fence? I can't recall. I bet one of our Indian friends can.
Ok... This thread took a predictable change. Just a friendly idea or suggestion. Has anyone contacted the forum moderator or admin and made the request directly? Is that possible without ripping each other apart?

Holy cow! I've been hub hopping and looking through a few freshly written hubs today and I am blown away by the low quality! The thought hadn't even crossed my mind before now to add "flagging" to my list of things to do while hanging out at HP as part of my daily ritual. I'm...

Do you think Hubpages should take a harder stance to poorly written hubs?I hop hubs when I can, and find so many that are of poor quality. They have little to no content, or just one long text block. Don't get me started about the spelling or grammar.Should HP take more of a harder...

I just read the hub challenge that asked us to flag hubs that were poor in quality, etcso, out of curiosity I went to the Hubs section and hit latest and ....holy cwap, batman!!! there is so much junk here. It is clear that many either wrote a hub in their native language and translated it via...

Honestly, HP needs to step up and start filtering their input. I have been here for over 5 years and I have watched a lot of changes, but what I see as what must be the most damaging to HP (ergo we writers) with Google is the number of low quality Hubs being allowed in the gate. I hear a lot of...

I started writing on the web 15 years ago on a website that wanted reviews on products. I wrote very subjective reviews that were very short, and weren't particularly written well. After 12 or so years I began to work on Squidoo and finally Hubpages. I asked for advice on one of my first hubs and...

Do you think hubbers should be more involved with removing poorly written hubs?I previously asked a question if Hubpages should do more about poorly written hubs. Most hubbers stated HP should. Should hubbers themselves be more involved with that? We may flag bad hubs, but we...
