Considering how cheap it is to run a website, how bad is it really?  And how long has it been in existence?

There are websites hosting companies advertising now for free.  They are begging people to set them up.

    This thread has become interesting.

I hadn't planned to, but I've decided to toss in a clarification.

    This thread isn't about me.

My website is doing fine and I found that relying on Google may be a big mistake. I have several pages on page 2 of Google and the competition is so hard to beat that I don't think I ever can make it to page one. Page 2 gets you some traffic, but just not enough.

I now have plenty of traffic to my site, but it is coming from referrals from other websites. Every time Panda hits, I worked on finding new places to submit my url. It has worked. Try that.

    Best of luck!

You might like to add your website to the links on your profile page so we can all go and have a look!
