moving hubs to a different user?

   Hi I have got various hubs but wanted to write specifically about one topic. I have a lot of experience in disability rights and advice in particular about how disabled people can empower themselves with the UK Direct Payment scheme. I notice there is no way to group hubs and don't really want all of my unrelated hubs presented together. I have thought about creating a new account specifically to deal with my number one topic, however I have already created some hubs on this subject. Am I allowed to create another user account? Is there a way to move your hub from one account to another? Alternatively is there a way to group hubs? I've looked around the forum and the answer seems to be no but any ideas or advice would be great.

      There is a way to group hubs under one topic. You just have to create the group and make sure you are specific about which hubs are placed in that group.
      
      To group hubs:
      1) Go your accounts page
      2) Under Hubpages Earnings there is a box. You will see the word Statistics and a smaller word name filter
      3) In the filter section click on the blue link called edit groups
      4) You will see a button called Add New Group. click on that
      5) Name your group
      
      All your hubs will be in a generic group called Orphaned Hubs, drag the hubs you want placed in the group and drop them under the new group heading.
      
      Alternatively you can go to each hub and select the group from the hub tool. Also, when you create a new hub just place it a group before publishing, that makes it much easier.

         Thanks, I've just had a go and created a group and put two hubs in there. Is there a landing page or overview page dedicated to each group? I want to direct visitors to that group of hubs etc.

            No, but two of the hubs in each group are always displayed at the bottom of the hub your visitors are reading.

                  The other option would be to create an account for that specific topic, or a blog or your own website.

                  What you can do is create a "Capstone Hub" for that topic.  Basically it's a Hub with links to all of your Hubs on a given topic. 
                  
                  It's important to have actual content in that Hub as well as the links, or it will get unpublished.  What I do is use Links capsules, and write a long unique description under each link. 
                  
                  Alternatively, if you have one topic dear to your heart, it's always worth considering starting your own blog dedicated to that subject.   It's always a risk writing on a site you don't own - I think HubPages is here for the long term, but I've written on other similar sites which have gone bust or closed down, and that's always hardest to take if you've written something you care about.   
                  
                  Once upon a time, writing on HubPages meant you got more readers than a blog, with less effort.  That's not true today - they're about the same.  The only advantage of HP is that they will monetize your posts for you, whereas trying to make money on a blog is a real learning curve.

   This is just thoughts...
   
   A website dedicated to a specific topic can work if you know SEO and all that.
   
   But doing a nucleus of hubs under a relevant user name can also work.
   
   Tough town, internet.

   Yes, you are allowed to have more than one user account.  However, you will have to earn the minimum payment on each account separately to be paid.  Also, you can only post in the Forum under one user name.  So, you'll have to build a reputation for each of your accounts independently.
   
   You cannot transfer a Hub to another account, but you can delete a Hub and then create it again on a different account.  To do that, delete your Hub and then have the cache removed from search engines by following these directions:

   Also, have the cache removed from your subdomain Profile page because the Hub URL and summary are posted there as well.
   
   When the cache is gone, wait about a week and then publish your Hub on your new account.

   I write about a variety of topics in the single account.  I do group them as Cardisa explained.  Even though the profile page shows the variety, since most readers come from search engines, they go straight to the hub, and then are shown my other hubs through the groups and other links that I place on the page.
   
   In this way, if I get tired of a particular subject, I can do something else, and then come back to it.  Also some hubs do tend to apply to the same target market and some apply to more than one topic. (heritage quilts fit quilting and genealogy for example, and if I mention them as a fundraising opportunity for family reunions, they also fit in the finance topic).
