Editor's Choice changes URL???

   I am in the learning process....it seems it's a good idea to add my URL's from HP to my Adsense account. That said, I put a couple in...great, accepted however the next 2 I tried were being rejected as I didn't "own the site". On further inspection, I realize that the URL on my Editor's Choice Hubs doesn't contain "cre8tor" anymore but instead just Hubpages/whatever the rest of the URL is.
   
   I'm glad I've received so many of these however, is it hurting me or helping me since I can't ad them into my Adsense channel?
   
   Am I missing something?

      The EC hubs are placed on the HP main domain as was discussed before. It's still experimental but your hubs still belong to you.

         Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that HP took 'em over or anything but it does seem that Adsense will not accept them on my channels. I understand they're still mine but can't seem to tell Adsense that.

            They will still carry your adsense code and will still earn for you.  This can be seen in analytics, where you can see what hub produced which click - I get very few clicks anymore (I'm using HPads) but I do get some and some are on EC hubs.

               So, should I not be adding my Hub URLs to AdSense? I'm on HPads too but thought this would help with better ad placement and attention from Google.

                  No.  There is no need to tell google that it is your hub; when someone clicks the ad it carries your adsense code and google knows that - you will be paid.
                  
                  Whether google recognizes the super high quality ( ) of an EC hub and transfers the google juice to your subdomain is another question.  At the same time, if it helps HP as a whole, google will upgrade your subdomain somewhat because of that plus if HP is rated higher it will get more traffic.  Including your EC hub.  All a very complex dance to please google without knowing what they want, but perhaps EC hubs are a productive step.

                     LOL! Okay well then let's hope the Google juices flow our way through our making HubPages that much better.

   That adsense rejection has nothing to do with EC hubs.  I can't remember what exactly triggers it but I think it might be not using your profile pages as the submitted url.

      I submitted my profile as "my site" then the URLs as "channels". Any Hub I submitted to my channels that was not Editor's Choice (had Cre8tor in the URL) was accepted. The others with "hubpages" in the URL were all rejected stating that, in so many words, I don't own them.

         Mine shows as hubpages.com in the url section. Nothing more. I am still receiving money from mine without adding anything at Adsense. They show individually too, separating the ones that are EC hubs and those that aren't.

   As an experiment, I just put another Hubber's hub into my URL channels. AdSense gobbled it up with no problem. Don't know what it means, but thought you would want to know.
   
   Side note: I have a tracker on my blog pointing to that Hubber's hub, thus my interest in it.

   Adding individual hub URLs to your AdSense account is merely so you can find out what hub the ad clicks or ad impressions come from. If for some strange reason they won't accept the URLs you are not really hurting yourself, so don't stress over it.

      Okay, that's ultimately what I guess I was looking for. I thought I was hurting myself by not having done this before now...then of course now that I'm trying and this happened, I started to sweat a little. Thanks lovebuglena!
