    I remember that one day
    As I looked at you
You were standing on the bay
    Looking at the crew
The ship on the ocean floating away
    The wind blowing the leaves
    From the nearby trees
    No matter what you do
I should never give up on you
The one time the thought was new.
I remember you like never before
    The sweet, gentle, happy girl.

Every time my heart would skip a beat
The heart; some say it’s the strongest and complex muscle in the body
But in fact it’s quite soft and gentle
It lets in deep feelings such as  love.

    The heart doesn’t stop there
Or at least my heart doesn’t
Because every time I think,  talk , or even see you,
    Mine skips a beat.
It skips a beat not because of cholesterol ,or high sugar or, a heart condition
It skips a beat because of you.
Every time you come up on me
On any shape size or form
My heart skips a beat in content and excitement
For as I looked at you, I thought I would never be for you.

When people ask me this I say if you can't write a poem is because you are thinking and trying too hard.  Try and think of something or someone that you love or has done something for you.  DON'T THINK OF THE WORDS TO WRITE DOWN. Think of a meaning that you want to express and let the words flow. Trust me the words will come to mind as fast as a lightning bolt touches ground.

You think that it could be a hit song? It's was originally meant to be a poem. I did have some trouble trying to find it a beat .
