I'm little bit weary of my observation since the other day. I have double sent comment. Though, there's no big issue about it, I feel like careless commenter.
Today, I read and commented on some hubs. However, when I check my comment for editing purposes, my comment is gone. But I remembered clicking the Post Comment button.
Is HP experiencing problem with its website or mobile app? I'm currently using my phone to read other hubs.
We are working to resolve a known issue that results in some posts and comments showing multiple times.
Our engineers have been made aware of this issue and we hope to have a fix soon.
Thanks for your continued patience.
There is an existing thread here.

I hope that you are also working on the problem of not being able to even write a comment....as in nothing prints when we press the keys. This happens when attempting to write a comment below a hub, ONLY. It's not my computer nor is it my keyboard, since there is no problem at any time, anywhere, except when trying to enter a comment to a hub. Thank you.
At this time, we have had no other reports of an inability to post a comment.
Some Hubs are set such that the author must approve each comment before the are published.
Can you confirm this for the Hub to which you are trying to post?
Does it persist if you clear the browser cache and restart your computer?
Matthew......Any and all hubs I attempt to leave a comment. I'm aware of the writer approval method. This is not a matter of my comment not showing. I am unable to even print a comment to begin with. Hit the keys and nothing appears. Yet, I do not have this issue with anything else......just like now. I can write emails, etc etc.
I'll try what you suggest and see what happens. Thank you.
Yes, I have a had couple of instances of that in the past week. At first I thought it was something I did wrong. I've learned to not reclick and wait for the 'loading' to go away before I move on...
Sometimes people have their comments set "for approval" and they don't show up until they actually approve them. I have been caught that way, sure I commented on a hub but when I check there is no trace of my comment.
After you hit the submit button, look down below your comment box. If the hub author has settings that comments must be approved, there will be a message that says "Your comment has been submitted, however, it will not show till the author has approved it." - or something like that.
PS - then you will know not to click again which will duplicate your comment. Some other submit buttons are slow, also - like the Share button, when you want to share a good hub you just read with your followers. Click on Share and wait, it sometimes takes several seconds to wake up and work.
Dear Joel, Jodah and Phyllis,
Thank you for clearing out my mind.

Why do people write personal fan mail notes, but yet haven't commented on an article?Am I the only one who sits in utter amazement at people who send personal fan mail notes telling you how wonderful, inspiring, creative and informative your writing is, only to find out they have NEVER even written...

I am still new to Hubpages and have been enjoying a rather successful start. Thank you to those who have voted my articles up and those few of you who have begun to follow me. But I have noticed one thing of late and maybe it is the way it goes but I think it is disrespectful. I have commented on a...

Sometimes I leave comments on blogs and never return to see if the writer responded to me, simply because I forget. There should be an option for people who leave comments to be emailed (or if they're fellow Hubbers, sent a private message) when the writer of the Hub responds to them. ...

How do you feel when you write a comment and don't receive a response from the author?

Not sure if this is a problem or me not reading it right. On our "hubs you have commented on" page, the comments are split into "4 hrs" "24 hrs" and "ever".I've wanted to use it recently to check whether anyone responded to my comment. Now, I know I made...

There is a glitch on the HP home page. It must be a glitch because the comments are visible on the actual hubs:When authors have their hubs moderated, comments are hidden until they are approved. However, as of today (Friday 11th) this changed. Even if the hubs are un-moderated and you...
