According to Fox News, it's being reported that Disney's animated hit, "Frozen", is a serious threat to every man's masculinity in the world because it shows men either being bumbling idiots, or villains. Here's a video of the news report by Fox News for further details:

Assuming you saw the video, what do you think? Is "Frozen" a threat to men's masculinity? Or do you think Fox News is full of it? Please discuss.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I laughed my a** off watching this video. Seriously, I needed a good laugh today, and....thank you fox news.
When watching the movie, I wondered if it was promoting lesbianism.
So many little girls are watching this movie.
As I recall, one of the sisters is tricked and fooled big time by a guy who had seemed so 100% charming and wonderful.
That he became evil with no warning or hint was terrible for ALL who watched the movie.
If anything it encourages girls to mistrust men and instead have loyalty/trust of their own sex.
Its effects on boys, I haven't considered. Perhaps they can learn how NOT to be.
Yeah but don't you think the original Disney films sent kind of a dangerous precedent for little girls considering that not all guys are prince charming. Heck, I used to know this one guy that I worked with that one could call a ladies man. All the girls at my work thought he was the sweetest and kindest guy in the world, and he almost seduced one of my coworkers to sleep with him. But you want to know something funny?
He already had a girlfriend. You want to know how I know that? I met her. She was a nice looking girl too, and very sweet. But, that didn't stop him from being something of a player when she wasn't around, yet she would swear he was a prince charming type.
I personally didn't have a problem with that one guy, in "Frozen", turning out to be bad simply because I felt it was a great message to little girls on how you shouldn't be so quick to trust your heart with a guy that you barely even know. Let's face it. There's a lot of guys out there that would lie through the skin of their teeth to get laid, and you know it.
To point out what Kristoff said in one scene, you can't fall in love with a person that you barely even know. That's dangerous because you don't know what kind of person they truly are until you've gotten to know them. It was a great cautionary lesson for girls to learn, and it doesn't promote lesbianism at all if you ask me.
Plus, if you look back at some of the earlier disney princess films, you'll notice the common theme was that it would always tell little girls that a prince charming would always save them from their problems, and how happiness always comes from being in love.
And if you look at most of the iconic queens that Disney had in their animated features, all of them were evil. Sure, you had a few good ones, but they weren't anywhere near as iconic as the queen of hearts or the one from "snow white." For years, various media would tell little girls that it's not okay to be in a position of power because it might make you ugly or less feminine.
However, when you look at Elsa, it shows little girls that it's okay to be in a position of power and authority. And just because your a freaking queen, it doesn't mean you have to be butt a** ugly, or evil as sin. Elsa was a queen that was in a position of power, and she was very beautiful and kind. Why is that such a bad message to girls? Are you saying that a woman can't be feminine if she's in a position of power?
Plus, it's not like all the men in "Frozen" were evil. Elsa and Anna's father wasn't evil. What about him? He wasn't a bumbling idiot either from what i could tell. Granted, he wasn't in the movie for that long, but still.
Plus, what about Olaf? He risked getting melted to help Anna. Doesn't that count for something? Or what about Kristoff? He wasn't a bad guy. A bit of a doofus but not a bad guy.
I seriously doubt this film will ruin any man's masculinity. And even if it does, then I think that says more about the men who's masculinity was offended more so than the movie itself.
" Or do you think Fox News is full of it? "
Was there ever any doubt?
Everyone who works for Fox News needs to have a reality check.
Steven, a great forum. They take a single cartoon and extrapolate what Hollywood is doing to men. Watch Buster Keaton's "The General" and see what he did to women. Films across the history of Hollywood have depicted both in just about any light you can shine.
I saw "Frozen" and I enjoyed it very much, and I did not walk away emasculated so think the Fox news anchor and his guest must have firmly had their tongues in their cheeks, or their is cause for concern for the level of Fox news intelligence to be crashing into the basement.
