      I probably would, but after a few weeks of other people taking it - just incase it had side effects.
      
      In the UK, they are giving Jabs/injections to young girls to prevent Cervical Cancer. Well, one of them died after having it. Bless her.

         Thats not true, yes she had the jab and yes she died but she would have died anyway that day without the jab.  She had a tumour in her chest!!

      Neither would I.  I haven't had a flu shot since I got out of the Army in 1990 and I only got them then because I was forced to.  Amazingly, I have only had the flu twice since then (knocking on wood.)

   Vaccines have a lot of chemicals that are no good for the body. You never know what's in them. I'm not taking any vaccine.I don't trust health organizations

   I find flu shots are useless.
   I am fine without any shots, I know it is hard for some to believe that I got flu every time when I used those shots.

   In my day job I'm a nurse, so from next week I'm going to be promoting the swine flu jab.  I'm having some training on it next week and I'm going to make my decision then.  My answer at the mo is probably yes, but I'll wait until I've had more information next week.  'Regular' flu kills around 6,000 people a year - I don't want to be the 6,001st!

    No.  I don't have flu jabs anyway, and this one has been rushed through and has not been tested rigourously enough.  Flu mutates so fast as well, that this vaccine could well be ineffective by the time you get it.

    Yes I will. I almost lost my life to flue while in a weakened state after radical cancer surgery 12 years ago.
    I take regular flue shots and have for years.
    I have never had any side effects.
    I have seen the data against it. Unconvincing to me.

    No I won't.  I can't remember if I've ever had a flu shot.  Its so widespread here right now, the vaccine isn't available yet - so I'm thinking there isn't a point.

    No, I won't be getting it, even though I am pregnant. I think the swine flu has been over hyped! They are finding it isn't any worse than the regular seasonal flu.  Plus, they want to give us something they haven't tested for very long...especially on pregnant women and children! And, if you get the vaccine and have any kind of reaction, there isn't a compensation for it.  The goverenment isn't taking any responsibility.

    No way.  I was just asked by my doctor to get the regular flu shot and said no.  I don't trust all those chemicals and I don't believe that it helps to prevent the flu anyway.  I rarely get sick to begin with so I'm not going to worry about it.

    I think its a safe bet to abstain from a swine flue vaccine, especially since we're now hearing reports comparing the fatality rate of H1N1 to that of the common seasonal flu.  Not to mention this particular vaccine is still in its early stages of development. 
    
    This whole ordeal was a great example of the sensationalistic worldwide panics the media often designs...  Its so frighteningly easy to be misinformed.

    I have taken the vaccine a few times,  and every time I do, I get the flu, I argue with the doctor about it and the answer has been; It could have been worse without the vaccine, funny thing is that I do not get the flu when I don't take the vaccine.

       It is common for people to think they can get the flu from a vaccine. But with all honesty it is impossible to get the flu because of the vaccine shot. They virus put into your body is dead has been for a long time. Its just foreign to your body so you develop a form of antibody to that type of virus.
       Your doctors right you could have been worse off by having no anti body for the flue you have. More then lucky it was a different strain of the flu virus that mutated but your body with the older type of antibodies can more quickly adapt and get you over the virus faster.
