Would anyone know if there is a write up about how to get this Rss-thingy set up and how to work it? No one laugh but I have no clue what and how it works. One thing at a time is all my old brain will take in....but now its time to focus and figure how to add that to my hubs too.
Thanks regards Zsuzsy
I think that Jenny (Inspirepub) wrote a Hub about it. And I know that there is a forum thread on it somewhere too..... ![]()
I know nothing about the RSS Feeds either, Zsuzsy Bee, but I just clicked on the RSS feed on one of my hubs. It lists 10 of my hubs and there's a place to click on "Learn more." That gives you everything you ever wanted to know about RSS Feeds, but I don't have a week to read about it. I'll put it on my long list of "things to do."

Thank you William. I set myself something new to learn weekly. zs

Hello ZB,
If you go to feedage.com you can copy and paste your rss feed there. This will then have the viral effect of placing your hubpages under the feed on the net. It is a very good promotion tool to use.
Simply copy paste and submit your feed to feedage and they will do the rest. Basically rss lists your headings with the url link on the web and there's not really that more to it.
Feedage is a good place to learn about rss.
I don't like to promote my hubs on the forum but I've written a Hub telling How I'm using the RSS feature to show my latest hubs on my blog.

My Hub is about using RSS feeds in Hubs, and making feeds of your own Hubs.

I am unable to read your screen prints.
Once I have created the Capsule, where do I get the Feed URL from.
The Help button on the Capsule doesn't help as it says "Enter the RSS feed URL into the box and click "Preview current RSS"."

Trevor,
Go to your profile. Click on one of the places which takes you to a list of your Hubs.
1. At the right, you will have "Latest Hubs", and if you have quite a few Hubs there will also be a "Best Hubs" and a "Hot Hubs" section. Click on the blue word "more" if one of those is what you want.
2. If you want a feed of your Hubs just on one specific topic, scroll down to your tag cloud and click on the tag topic that you want.
Once you have a list of your Hubs on the screen, copy the URL from the top of the browser window.
When you paste it into the RSS capsule, you will need to add "?rss" at the end of the URL to make it valid.

Jenny,
I just read your Hub and left a comment. You pointed out and made plain different ways to grab RSS feeds for our Hubs. Thanks for sharing this info.
Here are 2 sites you can use to place all of your RSS feeds - Feedbite.com and GrazR.com. They're easy to set up and add your feeds to, not to leave out great for creating backlinks to your Hubs.
Jenny
You are very helpful.
Thank you
Trevor
