   it doesnt bog my computer down like Internet Explorer (which I hate)- it is a lot faster pulling things up, as well

      Interesting.  It DOES bog my computer, and IE doesn't (and I actually like IE).  Have tried it 3 major times on 3 different computers, same result every shot out of the gate.
      
      Am thinking it doesn't like ME.

    I have been a Firefox nut since 2004. I am also fanatical about open-source operating systems, all of which include the fox. I will continue using Firefox as long as it is supported. Internet Explorer is full of hidden crap, that MS put in to make them more profit. Firefox is much more valuable to the end user. IE was just an attempt to make deals with advertisers and such, and to get the cash users were giving to Netscape, before MS included IE. Firefox is the revenge of Netscape!

    Although I use Firefox, I've started using Opera a lot more. Firefox crashes all the time and freezes often.

    I've used Firefox since it's release.  I find that I use that the most, and then I use Safari followed by Chrome...
    
    I tried Opera a while back, and it made a mess of my computer, so I haven't used it since...Maybe it's time to try it again...
    
    I refuse to use IE...Nothing but a compiled load of crap in my opinion, as useless as that is...LOL

    I've used Firefox for about 4 months now, and I think it's great. I've been getting a lot of blue screen lately, which I think is due to my mobile broadband driver,and I love the way Firefox saves all my stuff and puts me back where I was.
    I also love the way it finds my most often used web-sites, ie just putting the letter G into the url bar offers me google.
    I love the morning coffee add-on that brings up my most used pages every time I boot up.
    I love the way it points to my web mail, without me having to go looking.
    I don't like the way all my saved web sites get lost and turn up under 'history ~> unsorted bookmarks' but I'm sure I've probably set something up wrongly, not them.

    For some reason, I can no longer use videos on my hubs while using FireFox and have to switch to another browzer. But, then, I come back.

       I got an updated version the other day and they said the advantage of the update was so videos could be played on Firefox which I thought strange at the time as I never had any problem playing them.
       Have you got this update or new version or whatever it was? Might solve your problem.

             Version 3.5.7 came out on 5th January 2010. Check under 'help' on the firefox toolbar. Click on 'check for updates'.

       If you scratch Flock, you'll find firefox underneath.
       
       I use firefox. It has the best range of addons, and you can customise it to suit your needs.

          Hey Eric and Peter, I knew Flock was driven by firefox and it was a factor in choosing it. I love the sidebar auto sign-ons!
          Trouble is it crapped itself 2 weeks ago, so I am running Firefox as we speak.
          Peter that laptop is weeks old, outdated mate!

    Firefox is useful for the SEOquake plugin to get page rank of the sites you will be up against if you write a hub for a particular keyword, otherwise I reckon it is too cumbersome and slow compared to Google Chrome.

    Its also great for hubpages for me.
