Why is it snowing in Florida?!?!

   Yes thats right, there are snow flurries. I am in SOUTH Florida. Ya know? Heaven's waiting room? Where most of the population is over 65, everyone has a tan, and we can wear flip flops year round... and it is 30 degrees right now.

      All of my plants died (froze) . It is fairly warm today. It started about two weeks before Christmas.

   really?  no snow here, but I haven't been out!! feels like temp is 25. geez, now I need those ugg boots.

   LOL, sounds like a great title for a hub! It is strange to listen to reports of snow in Florida. Can't imagine how upset folks are who planned a nice warm sun-filled vacation and instead may be colder there in Florida than in their home state!

             it's not too bad now, the sun is warming us, and I have a fireplace. yesterday was brrrr...  I remembered how much I don't miss northern winters!

    I think a few of my plants might have died too! Here in sunny Spain it is minus something - the swimming pool has frozen over and there is lying snow on the lower mountains - not seen that in the 7 years I've been here.
    My heating is still broken and I am sitting here typing with frozen fingers at 10C, could be worse it was 5c this morning!

    It snowed because I came back to Az where it is 74 degrees.  We have a camp over by Pine Island and every day sence I left in Sept they called demanding us to come back because we took all the good weather with us.  But don'd dispare, we will bring the warm weather back with us when we return

    ...and the kicker is that at the time of snow flurries in south Florida, north Florida was 10 degrees warmer!  Of course the largest influx of "snowbirds" (those who go to Florida to escape the winters up north) had just happened the week before.  Maybe they took it with them.  :  :
