   I'm for the Rays in this series.  I just have a bad feeling the Red Sox are going to steal this series.  I do not understand why they like to use Games 2-4 and then come back just like that.

   I want to see the Rays win it.  To come this far has truly been an accomplishment and, since I can't see my Cubbies take it all, I want to see the Rays finish it.

   Well, as you can probably tell from my temporary avatar, I am a Boston fan -- always have been and always will be. However, my feelings about this series are not what you might think.
   I always enjoy a tough battle and hate a sweep (even if it's my team doing the sweeping).
   There have been so many great moments in this matchup -- hot, hot bats on the Rays whereas the Sox just couldn't seem to find their power consistently. Good pitching left way too many men stranded on base.Ouch!
   It's really been the epitome of post-season baseball. More twists, turns and loop-de-loops than a high-speed rollercoaster.
   Gotta say I was astounded when Boston shot back from a 7-0 deficit in Game 5. Talk about magic! I was really just glad not to have it all end at Fenway.
   Going into tonight I again would have been happy to let the Rays make history. But you know what? I REALLY thought Mr. Maddon was pretty darned cocky in his attitude. Not cool to say. "Oh yeah, we'll only  play one more day and it will be over."
   That kind of overconfidence would have been more swallowable if it turned out to be another shutout. But when his team loses at home 4-2 -- tsk, tsk Mr. Maddon.
   
   Once again, I am hoping for a nail-biting fight tomorrow. Both teams have demonstrated their worthiness. The series is now tied, and that's good enough for me. I don't want the Red Sox to become like the Yankees. Ut's good to get new blood into the Series. But hey -- if they're meant to do it again... so be it.
