You must try it for yourself. If you believe you receive. If not then not. It is said that whatever you think about and thank about you bring about. don't wait to hear from someone else just experiment on your own. And then write a hub about it smile. I look forward to hearing your experience. For me I know in theory the ideas are wonderful but you need to have a the feeling place of where you want to be from where you are now. You need to create the feeling of what it is you want before it comes to you. So what is it you want? write it down, feel what it is like to have it and it has only to come to you. Try it. It may not happen instantly but if you keep thinking about it and feeling what it's like to be there then you will. Try it for yourself. Go for it!!! Like the "Nike" comercial. Just do it!!!

Yes it really works I tried it many times but you just have to concentrate on your desires and never give up but sometimes it becomes really difficult to believe at that level because you can see that it is not happening what you really want and we start to think in negative way which means the opposite will happen, it is real and it happens but it takes time to believe strongly and attract your desires.

      hello, cjpooja
i also say that "sometimes it becomes really difficult to believe"
every time we didn't get result.

cjpooja: glad to hear you had good results. The concept seems easy but in reality it is difficult when you are in a situation of wanting something and it doesn't show up. But then that's the lesson to shift our focus and attention only to what it is we want to bring into our lives and not focus on the opposite. How long did it take you to manifest what you wanted? one month? a year?

The Secret is not so secret and it is full of lots of fluffy information. Lets simplify it.

It you want something done, then go out and do it.

Personally no, however, i dont ever like to flat out say things like that to people generally...

Everyones entitled to their own beliefs, but if you investigate it i think you will find what wisdom there is within the "text" is essentially the "good icing" on (what i feel) is perhaps nonsense.

just my 2 cents, good post.

I used the secret for getting selected in campus recruitment and decided that I want a job in a good company within a month and as it is mentioned in the book that just take a step in faith you will find the whole staircase to achieve your goal, and I gave my 100% in studies and I got selected and not only in this case but in many small situations a felt that yes it happens. smile

Personally I think it is a lot of bs.  If you are interested I would recommend books like "Smile or Die" or the excellent "Help!" which poke fun of books like that.  Far more amusing reads.

Here's my "proof" that the secret doesn't work.  A while ago I had a very challenging project at work, that I really wanted to succeed.  I did not use the methods of the secret.  At many points I felt discouraged and didn't have "faith" that I would succeed, and yet I kept at it and in the end it succeeded.

On the other hand the idea that you can get lots of money just by wishing it is ridiculous.  I bet you "the methods" in the secret have not worked for a lot of people who wished that.  I bet you the author would explain that by saying that they simply didn't have enough "faith" and they didn't really use her methods properly.

On the other hand, the book was definitely a huge success for its author.  I bet you she's laughing all the way to the bank.  Just another proof, if more were needed, that mumbo jumbo took over the world (that is another book I highly recommend).
