I know this site has been discussed in the forums before, but I wanted to touch base to see if anyone here is still using that site and if so what have been the results.

I am asking because when checking keyword rankings for some of my pages lately, I have been seeing that site come up A LOT in googles results.  I have never noticed it before.   Are search engines starting to give that site more attention than usual?  If you have pages on the site, are you seeing an increase in traffic and/or earnings?

I noticed that one page had a link to 'google products'.  Does anyone know how a writer makes money with that?  Also, are affiliate links or links to your own pages allowed on Mahalo?  One thing I found interesting is that each page shows how much money it has earned to date.

    i was there..

but your earning depends upon your presence there and you should be active..

    not like hubpages..

here you can publish and the traffic and earning will be taken care by the visitors.

In Mahalo.. it's like Q & A session, the more you answer, and you get best answers you earn more..

I did some work for them in their video game strategy guide section.  It works differently from the regular one in that it pays quite a bit.  However, they've switched to fun bucks instead of real cash and I don't want anything to do with it anymore.

Fake "Mahalo dollars" that pay at the same rate as before but are worth like 75% of a real dollar. You can exchange them for real money! Hurray!

No thanks, if I'm gonna commit to writing five thousand+ words for you, just pay me in cash.
