Whats another good word for....

   evil?  I use this word too much and need new ones.
   
   For exampled: "Marcus lifts his free hand to his cheek and wipes away blood, his eyes watching as the demon dances from foot to foot and laughing ____."
   
   I was thinking of once again putting in evilly but I want a new fresh word.
   
   Any Suggestions?

    You might want to try this site http://www.synonym.com/ when you get stuck on a word. Just typing in evilly didn't do much but type in evil and you get all kinds of stuff.

    Thanks CW. Last one to leave the nest and all that jazz. When they first mentioned it I cried for two weeks. Now, that I have the official date I haven't stopped crying again.
    
    Anyhow, I know it is an exciting opportunity and all that jazz and trying to be positive when I am around them. All the crying has been in seclusion so as to not make her or him feel bad.
    
    Thanks for letting me vent in your thread. LOL, I like tantrum's word. Not sure it will fit but maybe you can fit it in somewhere else.

       My daughter, at 22 went to the UK  for 3 years, all by herself.
       and I was very happy for her. Went to visit once a year

       My mom was the same way when I moved...of course when I moved out my brother who had moved back home from SF had just moved out and I was moving to an island far away, Hawaii. So yes she was in tears a lot and truthfully so was i because I didn't want to leave my parents But I knew it was time for me to go.
       
       Do your best to stay strong for them but just remember that you get to visit them and get to help them make their house theirs! well that is if they are moving into a house. And if they are moving to another state VACATION TIME FOR YU AND THE HUBBY WITH LOTS MORE ADVENTURES IN THE NEW STATE! that is how my parents look at it now since I am married to the military and have to move around more. they did that when I moved to Hawaii. they came out in Sept, 2007, I got married and then they spent an extra week just having fun.
       
       and hey you can vent in my forums anytime. I do it sometimes lol

    Oh yea and the funny part Lynne, only a few weeks AFTER I moved out I called and got the answering machine. Mom had already changed it so it didn't include me or my brother anymore I was like DANG THAT WAS FAST!

    yeah, I'm trying to look at the bright side. I get the room with the largest closet now after I repaint and clean the carpet that is, and yeah I can visit them in AZ so that would be fun. Just gonna miss her tons, she's my buddy as well as my baby girl.
    
    At least she is leaving Prissy with me. When she moved back in I had just found my cat mauled to death by a coyote and well Prissy came with her and I've grown quite attached to the little girl.
    
    Tantrum: I've let her fly three other times and never a reaction like this cause I knew she would be back, this time she won't be. While they haven't made an official commitment with rings and paper they have made a verbal life commitment to each other. So, this one is the keeper and all.
    
    I'll get ok with it and get through the holidays and then mid-jan I'll be back to fall apart some more on you guys cause that is when they are departing.

    My parents took over my room and made it into their gym while my brother's room is the guest room
    
    And the missing part will always be there. I miss my parents and when I stay with them it's like old times except I sleep in my brother's old room and there is a guy sleeping next to me...my husband

    Just a thought but Stephen King told me to avoid adverbs like the plague unless I am JK Rowling. (In his book 'On Writing'). I'm not his biggest fan but he can sure sell a book. Maybe try changing your sentences to include similes or metaphors instead.

    Steven King's book "On Writing" is a great read for every writer. My fiction pieces have improved and I may give birth to a book yet.

    Sinister is the word that came to my mind as well. you would need to re-structer the sentence to make if fit nicely.

       we actually have a case in our handbag to wipe down shopping carts etc my daughter has one to match every purse I have made her.
       
       Chambers: yep, she is the oldest but my baby in every sense of the word. She's been on her own was in a disasterous 8 year relationship and came home 4 times from that, this one well he is a sweetheart and has her right up there on the pedastal where I think she should be and I know it is for keeps. It is just that AZ is so far from GA.

    I would agree. In my book I don't try to end in the plural context or with "ly"
    
    for example;
    "hop along joyfully"
    "joyfully hop along"
    
    these are somewhat childish in comparison but the english laguage 'usually' tends to compliment what I have stated. example 2;
    
    
    "married hapilly"
    "hapilly married"
    
    normally you would choose the later. Hope this helps.

    Instead of laughing, you could say cackling like a madman, or maniacally or hysterically or anything. Changing the verb could open up more possibilities and attitudes. Happy people laugh, Witches cackle, and Demons bellow their malevolent rage across the room with a booming cackle that shook the walls.
    
    You only need about 2300 words and you still have seven days you'll be fine.

    you could try these words-  nefarious, insidious, noxious, perfidious, putrid, depraved, heinous and virulent. Maybe one of these words will fit well with your book. Good luck BB

          That's where you all made your mistake, people don't want to hear how it is, they want to be lied to, have it sugarcoated and be able to blame it on anyone but themselves.              It is significantly more quiet this way and less infuriating. That and I'm done with the religion forums. Just take a few days and read through them without commenting, its the same thing over and over again, nothing changes, except some names and nouns. What is solved?
             
             I am sorry to hear about your loved one Crazd, I've been reading your hubs but holding on the comments for now. There's just alot going on and alot to deal with. But I feel for you.
