I'm making bbq chicken sandwiches for dinner tonight

    I'm going to brine about 15-20 chicken breast, grill them, and then serve them as BBQ chicken sandwiches with jack cheese, mayo, lettuce, onion, and tomato.

    I'm using up some leftover meats - pork and chicken - to make tortellini. I serve them in chicken broth sprinkled with parmesan cheese. An Italian version of wonton soup.

    Add a hearty red wine, salad and artisan bread and we're set. Oh homemade chocolate ice cream with Kahlua for dessert.

    Pearldiver - strawberries are in season in New Zealand! I'm so jealous. My strawberry bed is covered in a foot of snow.

      Yep... It's Berry Time and you Need to be jealous.. It's one of the best seasons for ages. smile

      But.. You guys have the opportunity to get out the Flavourings and make some pretty awesome HUGE Slushies lol

        I froze a lot of strawberries in July, so we do get that wonderful flavor for most of the year. I also made lots of jams and preserves. (I never let one strawberry go to waste.) But there's nothing like sitting in a strawberry patch on a hot day and eating strawberries right off the vine.

      and I love the chicken BBQ at PAULS house too,,,I will cook beef caldereta (stew with Asian sauce hoisin on it) and will bring it there plus fried jasmine rice with shrimp YEHEY

      Yeah... A couple of kiwis caught an Iceberg floating off the Southern coast and said they were going to bottle it... but the Water is out of Tap!!! lol
      Sheesh... you can't trust them at all!!
      Are they STILL Selling it over there? lol

      @ PDH.... Most of our Strawbs are gone before they ripen to Asia.  I'm eating my neighbours!  Shssssh lol

    well why do you blame her?if you dont want to eat less than go ahead n eat as much as you want but the fact is that if u are a little over weight than you must look at yourself,dont blame her but ask yourself if you are looking good the way you are or you do want to look pretty otherwise
