   I've been trying to write all day, but research is killing me. For five separate venues, I Googled the venue name and the actual business website didn't even appear on page one!

   Make that six. I just Googled "Bob Carr Performing Arts Center Orlando," (without the quotes) and the actual website for the venue (bobcarrpac.org) is on page SIX on Google. Yahoo, it turns out, has it on page one. Go Yahoo!

   @ earnest - I was playing around with Ask Jeeves the other day, trying research there, and asked it about god. Jeeves gave me a fair answer. Then I asked it something along the lines of what it (Jeeves) believed in and it couldn't asnwer ... so it gave me a direct link to Amazon instead.
   
   I think Jeeves is in bed with google *nods*

      Oh wow lol! I feel flattered (blushing too) and I get you and what you mean lol A mush is a face. Sorry, my bad. I actually have an account on here with my mush on it but that was done wayyyyy after frogdropping.

   If Google is still monitoring their web searches made by people online, you can "Block Results from the Page you visited."
   
   You can do this with Firefox I know and I would think with IE. I use Firefox and I visited a crappy search results link and when I hit the Back button to the results page again...at the bottom of that link appears a link to "Block that result." I Blocked it!

   I seem to be seeing a small increase in yahoo and bing searches, and have wondered about it. 
   
   Has google shot itself in the foot?  Not only has it perhaps lost all the adsense income from we awful content writers, but people are shifting their preferred SE?

      I see that also. Who wants to type in a search on Google and find 1,2,3 pages that lists sites that all say the exact same thing!
      I am also noticing that most of the time the links may be to "pages" of the same site. Seems some sites are getting links to the same page with "keywords or Tags." Thought Google was against that now!?!? Playing the system?
