The Journey Ends – The Journey Begins

In my quest to learn about Hippocrates Health Institute, I spent a week in their Life Transformation Program and each day I wrote about the experience. The week passed quickly and on the final day I decided to wander around the grounds to find all the hidden treasures.

This is my last article in the series and it gives me a chance to look back and reflect on the unique experience I was a part of and the knowledge I’ve gained for my journey of health. It also helped me understand that sometimes you need to take the time to appreciate what is around you.

Nestled in every nook and cranny of this 60-acre venue are some of the most spectacular sculptures. As proof to its organic lifestyle are the many water fountains. Surrounding those sculptures and water fountains is forestry that you rarely see all in one location.

Among the diverse trees are many that carry fruit. There are coconuts, avocados, papaya, and so much more awaiting their turn to be ripened, picked and enjoyed by the guests meandering around this lush landscape of mostly greenery. This is a testament to its naturally green protocol that is based around wheatgrass, green drinks and healing people at all stages of health; some are there as a refresher, others are literally fighting for their lives.

Wandering Around the Hippocrates Landscape

Journeying around the property you occasionally come across animals who belong here and who can choose their territory. You “might” see an otter by the lake but you “do” see lots of lizards pop up here and there as you wander about the grounds. Undoubtedly the animals on this property are truly the healthiest around.

Hippocrates has no pesticides or chemicals polluting its grounds, only pure water, limited use of electronics, all natural products and the freshest organic food you could ever want to eat.

This is a place where you can go for an hour, a day, a week or more. It’s also a place where you can enjoy its spa, fitness center, saunas or any of the other specialty equipment designed to help you detox, heal or relax. Hippocrates also offers special programs on a regular basis, all with that theme of pure, organic and healthy.

During its three-week Life Transformation Program, each day is focused on healing but that also includes time to relax and to help you do that are a host of benches hidden in remote places and even a hammock or two. A warm water mineral pool is rarely empty as those attending soak up its wealth of health. There are also two fitness centers, one indoors and one outdoors.

While it may be difficult for some to make this life transformation, being surrounded by so many other likeminded people helps you stay on track for the three-week program. That gives you just enough time and knowledge to continue your path to health.

Continuing Your Path of Health and Wellness

When you leave Hippocrates and are no longer surrounded by the hidden treasures or served food and drinks that have what you need or have easy access to healing equipment, you must make a decision. Hopefully, the knowledge you gain during those three weeks will inspire you to want a life that allows you to be in the best possible state of health you can be in.

When you come to those crossroads is the time to think about how you felt when you were there and how you saw so much positive change over the weeks in everyone around you. It’s a time to reflect on the stories and testimonials you heard and to recall the messages you learned when wandering around. It’s also a time to draw on the knowledge you gained because in the end, the choice of how you want to live your life is up to you.

In my one week, I saw all of that and as I end this week there is one woman who stands out. I saw her as she arrived with her husband pushing her around in a wheelchair. The pain on her face was evident and many times as her husband pushed her back to her accommodations he would look at me and say, she is in a lot of pain so we are going to go rest. Never once did I see her stand in those early days.

On the last day of my seven days, I soaked in the mineral pool with husband and wife, admiring the love and loyalty he showed, but what impressed me more was the smile on her face. Such a beautiful smile. When asked how she was doing she responded, “I am better.” This woman was and still is skin and bones, but the change in attitude was remarkable.

That night I watched as she walked to the food and helped her husband fill their plates. She went back to the couch and saw me nearby and gave me a big smile and asked how I was. I was truly humbled and appreciative of what this place means to so many.

The Healing Powers of Hippocrates

Hippocrates gives you the keys to a better-quality lifestyle. If you choose to take the knowledge you gain to improve your health, then you can use those keys to start your new way of living. The choice is yours. You are the one that controls those keys.

While my weeklong series has come to an end, this is only the beginning of my journey and in the days, weeks, months and years ahead I plan to bring you more about Hippocrates and other opportunities to help guide you.

The best thing you can do is share. If like me and Hippocrates, your goal is to share the gift of health, then take the time to click on this series of articles and others and share them with your family and friends. That will be the best present you can give them.

This is the final article in this week-long series. To read the first six articles, go to Hippocrates day one and day two and day three.and and day four and day five and day six.
