The best soft drinks to replace soda isn't soda at all. I would guide you toward "Zip-Fizz" and "Green Energy Tea Fusion". They're classified as nutritional supplements. However, they don't give you the jitters - they have caffine from natural sources. They don't make you loopy, they don't have sugar, and they don't taste bad (Zip-Fizz has like 12,000% B vitamins to keep up your vitality). They will satisfy your craving for soda pop caffine.

If you're not into the alternative health drinks, I'd say soda pop that uses sugar in place of high-fructose corn syrup would be your best bet.

There are some stores who carry "sugar" soda from overseas as they often do not prefer the sweetness of high fructose corn syrup.  If you have a mexican, indian or mid-eastern grocery store in your area, you can probably find the regular versions of crush, coke, fanta and others.  I avoid corn syrup because I have a corn allergy but I actually don't drink soda anymore.  I just stick with plain old water mostly. :-)

Jones Soda is the best. Unless you can get Fanta from Ukraine...oh man I loved that stuff when I was there.

The best soda without high fructose corn syrup is one you can easily make at home with seltzer water. All you need to do is juice  some fresh fruit and mix it in the seltzer fizz. You'll avoid all the artificial stuff and sugar that is in regular soda and highly enjoy a nutritious drink.

I think Hansens are great and come in several flavors.  They use cane sugar rather than high fructose corn syrup.

I like Coca Cola and Pepsi Cola that is imported from Mexico.  It's in glass bottles, contains sugar not high fructose corn syrup, and is less expensive (I purchase cases from Costco).

    This is misleading.

All sodas contain fructose even if they don't have high fructose corn syrup.

If they don't have fructose, say because they are "diet", then they have processed additives which still lead to weight gain and many other conditions like cancer and heart disease.

I am going to take it one step further to say that not only do all sodas have fructose, but ANY and ALL juices, flavored waters, and protein shakes contain fructose. You really can't drink anything except water, coffee, and tea. Caffeine is bad though too for other reasons.
