   Yes, the fear that springs to mind for me was Public Speaking.  In my twenties I was terrified of it.  But then, it is supposedly the most common fear in the world.   At thirty-six I joined a Toastmasters Club.  I've been a member on-and-off now for well over thirty years.   Now, one of my greatest pleasures, is to be a guest speaker at a big event.
   
   Over the past decades I've stood before over a thousand audiences and communicated with both stories and speeches to well over 50,000 people.  This is what facing up to a fear can do for you.   It can turn something your frightened of to something you love.

      Thanks for your encouragement. We should all think about past accomplishments when we're afraid so we can tackle whatever comes our way.

   Yes, I have a lot of fear when it comes to walking on ice.  I am scared I am going to slip and seriously hurt myself.  With all the snow, I've been facing that fear quite frequently, though I notice I am getting better.

      Walking on ice is the worst. Ever since I broke my arm  and my leg at the same time I've had great fear of slipping again. It is true though, that if you take your time and wear the right boots you can live in a place like Michigan.

   Yes, a fear that occurred in my early childhood. It was very hard but now i feel more confident about it.
