    Which is the most inspiring "self help" book published in the world?

    Please suggest a few titles to improve confidence and face the struggles of life.

    I really like "Stillness Speaks" by Eckhart Tolle. It is a philosophical and modern interpretation of sutras of Ancient India and helps you keep calm in the face of life difficulties. But if you need to protect yourself from evil people, you need a self-defence manual.

    Oddly today . . . it is the one I am writing. It is inspiring of least for me. Hopefully it will be of inspiration and inspirational for others. The question as is for many is time, effort, and the goal. smile

    Resurrection by Neville Goddard. It shows how to use spiritual powers to receive whatever you desire. Mainly by visualization as you go to sleep every night. The method works secretly and effectively with persistence and it influences people or attracts to you whatever you desire.

    What comes to mind for me is "The Road Less Traveled" by M. Scott Peck. When I read this about 20 years ago, it opened up a whole new perspective about how to see the world and my place in it. It is truly an eye-opener to self-introspection.
