Any ideas what is wrong with my apple tree?
We had a bumper crop last year from both our apple trees but this year this one is full of bad spotty apples and the leaves are speckled too. The other tree seems to be ok and I pruned them both at the same time. All help appreciated.
Did you ever spray your apple trees this past year? I'm not an expert on spotting apples, only on eating them. However it looks like either inch worms or japanese beetles have been munching on your crop. Just a guess, because I've seen spots like this on other types of fruit, such as pears and the bugs usually cause the problem. Hope I have helped answer your question somewhat.

Looks like some kind of bug is in the tree and or a blight.
