If you want to paint your home, where do you search a painter?

If you want to paint your home, do some sanitary work or little bit of interiors, where do you like to search for those who can do it.
Will you find it online or portal.

Word of mouth is always great so it is worth getting recommendations from friends and family locally. Always get a minimum of three quotes, if you need extra reassurance look out for companies that are part of a trade association.

What do you think about , if it is available online, which will provide you all details. Won't you try this.

Yes, by all means I would check online but no glitzy website can measure up to a personal recommendation by someone who has used them. Good Luck.

We talk to our friends about who did their house. It's how we found our painter. He's a perfectionist and does a fantastic job.

No. Did you read what I said? I have no need to look online.

Once I went looking at the paint department at Lowe's. I figure if there's one there he/she probably know what he/she is doing. Sure enough, there was a professional painter there buying paint for a project due in a week. After much negotiating, he agreed to do mine first, since it will only take a day to complete.

I've also gone looking by driving around the new sub-divisions down from my street. And there they were! Two young professional painters. Even they couldn't believe in my unconventional method of looking for painters. And yes, they did an excellent job.

My boyfriend is a painter. A lot of their business comes from referrals, including when a paint store they purchase their paint from, tells a customer. Some look on websites, but not all contractors have websites. You can ask friends on Facebook and there are some sites that offer a free search, but those may not be represented well when the contractor is paying to list on that site. Ask Angie is a paid site for customers. Hardware stores, some are good bui if there are nothing but young, inexperienced people working there, they cannot help you.

Always best to check with neighbors, places that sell to the contractors and check the Better Business Bureau to ensure quality business.
Never pay in full, up front.
