Would you rather hire out a home improvement job or do it yourself?
Well, let's be honest here Deb. There are some things that I simply cannot do. However, I will always try first, or at least do the research to determine if I can do it or not. I never just automatically call in help. Way to tight with my money and way too stubborn.
Painting, I'll do it and save money. If there is demo, we will have fun with some hammers
But if it is a big job, like new tile, my husband can do it. He used to work construction. So yes, we do it mostly ourselves.I love the look on a friend's face when you tell them you did the project yourself. Glad you can enjoy that feeling too
