How can you get hits from people outside of hubpages? Where and how do YOU promote your page?
What sites where helpful for you?
I use Facebook and Twitter and Diggit. I get a lot of my traffic from these sites. You can also post your hublinks on other sites such as Redit, Myspace and Blogger. I also post my hub link on forums that are relevant to my hub topics. Hope this helped
Zoey, not fair, I was gon'na say that. There are also some free traffic building sites like http://www.imautomator.com/ I am just learning this too joansjones. It's fun learning these isn't it?
thanks guys! I'm going to look into it, it looks time consuming but I'm sure it's definitely worth the effort.
I get 100 percent hits from referring sites that took them 2 months to find my article from June 2010 A.D. when I put it on the internet with Google and August 2010 A.D. when they found it and as of April 24, 2011 A.D. I am at 1804 ever views total. So referring sites will use your hubs if it is of excellent quality content like my article is and that is just the facts with my 0 hubs on hubpages. My article have been seen around the world in 8 countries because the referring sites have been promoting my article for me and I do not have to do any promoting myself and that feels just great to be able to kick back and watch your article go around the world in 8 countries.

How much money should I expect to earn from hubpages?I'm not overly worried about the money side of hubpages just mainly curious, I have been on here for around a week and have 20 hubs but still am only getting a few cents a day is this normal? With more hubs comes more cents??

How do you maintain a positive attitude and not give up on writing at HubPages? With the recent google changes, the virus alerts, and the viewer drops, how can a person stay upbeat and positive writing on here? I am beginning to question this.

Is writing hubs about making money or for the love of writing?I don't write hubs that will get me hundreds of advertisement clicks, I write because I love writing. Why do you write hubs?
