No. Of course no and politicians in general don't care about anyone. They just care about expanding they're power wherever it applicable.
I guess right now both the Republicans and Democrats "really" care about everyone including me.
I can look forward to a perfect life and they will be sure that they are the ones who will provide it, all the way from now till November.
Come the day after the elections however I am sure we can forget about how much they cared for us.
Care for any politician never really extends beyond the moment your vote is cast.
They certainly do. In Fact they care as much as the Democrats do. Since they are therefore equal & alike I call them DemoCANS & RepubliCRATS.
I have to question in general if politicians are interested in us, but I believe that they are more into lining their own pockets. It is just that the Democrats are the lesser of two evils when compared to the GOP. The Republicans are shameless plutocrats that are so brazen as they don't even feel the need to conceal that fact from the general public.
My response to this question is, personally, I don't give a damn whether the Republicans -- or the Democrats, for that matter -- care about me.
In my opinion, the only people who want politicians to "care about them" are the gullible, impressionable and dumb ones who have been brainwashed to believe in a great big fairy tale.
Similar to the way that many young children believe in the existence of Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy, a considerable number of contemporary Americans believe that government and political parties are supposed to be their "Saviors."
They have been psychologically conditioned by such factions as the educational system and news media to abandon such attitudes as self-reliance and self-determination.
Wow, I personally think the question is a really important one and I've enjoyed the variety of the answers so far.
I suppose it all depends if you think corporations are people, but that sidetracks the issue.
I sense that Republicans are proponents of tough love and being frightened by change they like things the way things ONCE WERE—hence conservatism. So they would argue that they do care . . . ( sotto voce: provided you subscribe to their dogmas).
It may be because I'm liberal-minded, nevertheless I sense that the Republican Party today cares more about money, power and their control of it than they do about average working people and their struggles in everyday life.
The present GOP candidates seem to offer proof of this at every debate.
I get so weary of generalizations. We can't paint this with such a broad brush. No, not all Republicans care about you, nor do all democrats or libertarians or any human in general.
We are all individuals and some care and some don't.
I like to ask...which party is for themselves and which party is for everyone else? When the question is answered we all then know who is a Republican and who is a Democrat.
no they don't for I work for a living an I just don't have the money to get a government contract in order to kick back money to them to hep keep them in office. same with democrats. for they two side of the same coin. in other words I just don't have the money to buy them for them to care about me and my
I think that Republicans care more about gaining political power and keeping their tax status under taxed instead of necessarily caring about the average American. For an example, Mitt Romney has said that there are "safety nets" for the less fortunate as if government is not needed to help open jobs and reduce unemployment.
Just recently in a conversation with Rick Santorum, Mitt Romney stated that he knew NASCAR team owners instead of actually knowing the drivers themselves. Just as GMA stated, that statement from Mitt Romney showed that he was not in touch with the average American helping the public remember the $10,000 bet he previously made with Rick Santorum.
Rick Santorum went a step further and had a NASCAR driver place his name on the vehicle for political advertisement. Rick Santorum does not have the capital as Mitt Romney and is more about domestic issues than what would solve those issues which is to create jobs, bring the outsourced jobs back to the United States and as aforementioned to reduce unemployment.
ABC news indicated that although family values are important; less than 3 per cent of the American voters deemed how a politician viewed family values as more important than how the politician viewed the problematic continuing issue of unemployment.

Its really sad that we as Americans let the Democrats and Republicans pull games on us and keep our minds off the really important issues that face us as Americans. How can we not demand real solutions to the problems facing us as Americans. You know I set and listened to the Republican...

Are Democrats and Republicans the same party? If you look at the facts, you can see many similarities between Republicans and Democrats. One is they both get funding from Goldman Sachs. Why would the same people fund both parties? Both parties agree with The Federal Reserve printing money, going...

I was in another forum where Habee made an interesting post about it is time for a woman to be President. I agree that it would be cool for a woman to be President, but it got me to wondering.Do you think the Democrats regret picking Obama instead of Hillary back in 2008? I think Hillary would have...

Why do the liberals insist on more deficit spending when the nation is BROKE?Why do the liberals REFUSE to understand that the deficit spending MUST be stopped or the nation will become premanently bankrupt?

A recently heard speculation has ex-Rep. Cheney running for president in 2024—as an Independent candidate. The idea is to split the vote as Perot did.One prompt for that thought was the huge war chest she has and how little she spent on her reelection campaign. The reasoning is that she would be a...
