I worry about that. Some states have invested in infrastructure, but in general there has been insufficient attention to education of the general population, and that is the investment that would allow them the flexibility to develop new survival tactics.

One should not look forward to other people's misfortune even if one does not like them, nor is vulgar abuse any way to discuss complex questions like religion and culture. If we cannot have an informed, courteous debate on such points, as adults should, it is better not to raise them at all.
