Do you expect that your area will send a different Senator and Representative to the new Congress?
With the public's approval rating of Congress so low this past year, you would think that some senators and representatives would get a pink slip saying they are fired! History tells us that voters tend to think that problems in Congress are the fault of someone else's senator and representative. Will it be the same where you live this year, or is a real "change" in the wind?
If it is true its about name recognition we won't ever get new folks in congress. The ladies from San Francisco are just too wealthy and too well known.
Name recognition is certainly a problem, and the "name reputation" is another which keeps anyone who has ever made a serious mistake in their life from running in the first place. It takes guts and selfless courage to even become a candidate,!

I ask this because since the U.S. congress makes six figures a year doing essentially NOTHING for the people that voted them in and THEN denies the unemployed extended comps calling the unemployed 'lazy'. Any jobs that paid a living wage in my state went overseas to cheap foreign labor...
