   Liberals and the left pulled this country back from the brink seven years ago.  The last time we had peace and prosperity in this country before that was when President Clinton (the first) was in office.  Sometimes I wonder if we all breathe the same air and drink the same water.  Where do folks get ideas like this?  America is recovering from the right.

      Read my answer above,which if you had you'd never ask where folks get ideas like this from, they get the facts.BTW Bill Clinton wasn't a left wing president &any prosperity was mainly due to his moving to the middle or even the right.

   It ALL depends upon whom you're talking to:
   (1) Discerning Liberals contend that postmodern Liberalism isn't the intelligent, thoughtful, concerned liberalism that they have known & grown up with. They strongly portend that this more extreme, even radical version of liberalism is in fact dismantling America educationally & socioeconomically.While they believe & fight for equal rights for everyone, they're reasonable in their fight & request regarding equal rights.They also believe that President Obama w/his Obamacare,illegal immigration policy, & concessive attitude towards Muslims is becoming unreasonable & ridiculous to the point of pure illogicality. 
   
   (2) Extreme Liberals, Leftists, Socialists, & Communists totally agree w/ President Obama & his policies.They believe that the most downtrodden among us are that way because of "the prevailing establishment" & "the man".They further aver that if the powers that be & the wealthy give up their power, then ALL will be right.They're the ones who believe that anyone who doesn't agree w/their socioeconomic & sociocultural policies are fascists, racists, Nazis, & other pejorative names.They're the ones who believe that America civilization, culture, & society needs to be seriously revamped, if not radically transformed.They see American nationalism as somehow a bulwark of racism & imperialism.  They love the direction that postmodern America is progressing to internationalism, even globalism.They wouldn't be happy until America become globalist from without & within.
   
   (3) Moderates believe that Liberals & the Left are destroying America. They believe that America may have problems; however, as a country, it is MUCH BETTER than it was.They believe that Liberals & the Left are asking for radical, even extreme changes.They maintain that people are working for changes w/n America; however, Liberals & the Left aren't satisfied w/ the rate of sociocultural, sociopolitical, & socioeconomic changes.They believe in reasonable changes.In their view, Liberals & the Left actually hate America & its values, wanting to transform it to a revolutionized America-1960s style but to the ninth power.
   
   (4) Conservatives strongly & staunchly believe that America is going to hell & ruination because of Liberals who are akin to Leftists in their eyes. They contend that because of Liberals/Leftists, America has become a socialist, even communistic society. They maintain Liberals/Leftists have destroyed American society beyond repair.
