This is crazy, supposedly a person who missed being shot at a mass shooting in Toronto was killed there last night. It's really awful that this happened and that children were also hurt.

Hi, Yes I have been watching it over here in England, and its terrible. It comes to something when people can't even go to the cinema without this horror happening. My thoughts go out to all the people and their families. its all over the news here, so I will keep watching. I see that they have caught the man who did it, small consolation for the families.

    Piercing Sorrow

Eyes lifted in tears of pain,
Searching for a hint of hope,
    Only darkness and bitter rage,
Finds me like a tightening rope,

Why, oh why, must this thing be?
    Saddened hearts with empty souls,
Darkened hearts that we cannot see,
    A riptide into this hellhole.

Where to go, which way to head?
Where is the light that we need?
Please, O Lord, hold us in your hands,
Remove from us this wicked seed.

Bring us through this darkened path,
Ease our soul and tears of pain,
Fill us love we know you hath,
Remove from us this bitter rage.

Unfortunately, atrocities like those in Aurora, Colorado; Columbine; the Virginia Tech massacre; and many others are going to happen. How do we get through these events of horror? To be honest... I don't know. About the only thing I can say is... faith, hope, love, endurance.

My sorrow for the families is insignificant compared to those involved, but I still send my hope and my love. I cannot say anything to remove the pain or make it lighter. Only time does that. All I have is my heart to give.

I am truly sorry for your loss.

Oh my, another Joker in person!!

When is violence going to stop?

For such an intelligent man, he should use it to help and not kill people.

This is such a tragedy. What is wrong with people? What causes someone to commit such atrocious acts? I feel both sorrow and pain for the victim's and their family.

You guys are all awesome in sharing your thoughts and prayers . Who would have ever thought that one day you would have to worry about going to see a movie? This is such a dark day in our nation . Once again evil has reared it ugly shameful head . Why are some people possessed  to do such evil things ?  I know that is an age old question that  humans have tried to answer for ages. At this hour and moment all we can do is try to be there for those that are affected by this and other evil acts. Tonight pray or think about those in the Aurora shootings and  reach out to someone that you haven't talk to in a while . This just shows you that life is too short .

It's going to change the way America sees the movies. The whole thing is senseless and horrible.

Sadly, I don't think it will have much of an impact at all, once a small amount of time has gone by.

Life is fragile.  May those who lost their lives rest in peace..  one of the lost was there on his birthday.

And hopefully will we never become desensitized to this horrific, senseless violence.
