Bible Studies on HubPages

Many of my hubs will be an extension of my website www.studying-the-bible.com. They are insights I have gleaned while reading and studying the Bible.  I welcome your own insights and comments as well. I hope everyone shares their insights also.

I believe there can be multiple meanings in a verse or passage. For example with two of my hubs, Miracle of the Virgin Birth, and Jesus Birth as a Forshadow, both cover Matthew 1:18-25. Both Hubs cover two totally different topics.

I am creating the website as I study and learn more about the Bible. Over time I hope it will become a tool to help people study and find what they are searching for in the Bible as well. If you do go to the site, and see another area I could add that would be helpful, please let me know.

I feel the hubs have have been a blessing, and people on here have shown me that there is some value as to what I'm doing. I just wish I kept up with everything through all these years. I almost feel like it is too little too late. I still have a lot of years ahead of me God willing, and if Jesus doesn't come soon. My three daughters are still in elementary school. I will have time to build it up.

I will be starting some new hubs that don't deal with the website. They are things that have been concerning me lately. I have written them while at work. Now I just have to type them in my computer.

Hopefully, I will be able to do everything I have been wanting to do.

All things are possible with God.

Sept. 20

11 hubs in 16 months. Not a good track record. I have hubs written down on paper I wrote at work. I'm a security guard that has a lot of free time when not signing trucks in and out or making rounds. I have some ideas in my head.

I'm not sure about the 30 hub in 30 days challenge. I think I'm going to challenge myself to write as many hubs in the next month as I can even if it is outside of what I originally wanted to concentrate.

The first one will be why I haven't written much.

Things have really gone hay wire here. I'm starting to have to look for a new job. I still have my job, but am not sure for how long. Since I have been with my security company, they have lost two contracts. It look like they will be loosing another one soon. The gaurds somehow get the heads up before the company itself does.

If my company looses this contract, I don't think they will have another place to put me in my area. I'm not sure if I want to stay in security or not. In the mean time, I'm going to be job hunting. That has been what is happening. I'm hoping to have a new job before anything happens to the one I currently have.

I'll get more hubs posted in the future when I have time. It looks like this challenge is over for me for now.
