    How would you answer this: "I wouldn't marry him/her if he/she _________________"

Even if you are already married-- just for fun-- what habit or attitude or belief or personal disclosure would be a total turn-off or what omission of that person would vote them off your island?  Please do not use "didn't love me" but you can use different words to express that if you wish.  Feel free to explain your answer at length.  Thank you!

oh too true, Sheepsquatch... would make going to bed a risky nightly affair-- particularly if the partner were a night-time snacker.

I would not marry him because it was constant arguing and discontent.  He was not my boss, I have a brain of my own.  I needed more agreement - more in common between us - without that - it was no thank you - and good bye.  I never married - but came close a few times - and actually I am glad it all turned out that way.

sounds like you made wise choices Deb Welch... but some would say "never say never"-- that harmonious other might just be out there still.  I recently heard there is a new social paradigm where more people than ever are choosing not to marry/cohabit.

techygram - There is a saying - 'that marriage is not for everyone' and possibly living together you experience most of the same problems.  I am also 60+ and I am quite happy being alone and single with a pet.  My daughter & others left 15 yrs. a

ah yes, Editorial Nation, love is often blind!  At least stinky feet can be fairly easily rectified with hygiene, but I hear that stinkin' thinkin' takes a lot more time and work to fix! Thanks for your humorous contribution!
