Do men really have the rigth instinct for love?

Women today spend a great deal of their time chasing men into their hearts and beds. Should most women do it because men are lacking instinct for knowing a good woman or because they are controling.

According to statistics over 2 million weddings take place in the U.S. each year. My guess is the majority of these weddings take place (after a MAN proposes) to a woman.
By the same token it has been reported that women initiate the filing of 66% or 2/3rds of all divorces.
With a 50% divorce rate I would say neither sex can brag about having the "right instincts" when it comes to love. Far too often people (choose) the wrong partner because they have not figured out who they are, what they want, or what they need in a mate. Awhile back I wrote a hub titled (5 Reasons Why Men Should Not Get Married.) The same reasons could also apply to women.

I see men over look women that would have been right for them all of the time. Perhaps the reason more marriages don't work out is because men chase pretty face, nice body, and over look personality.

Women and girls are far different now to what they used to be - it's the female doing the chasing, choosing and initiating. This is down to the effects of feminism and the rights of the individual. Females are doing their own thing and this has changed the tactics of many men who are a little confused when it comes to love and the finer arts of.
Marriage is still a strong institution but the actual relationships nowadays tend to be built on flimsy foundations, more on lust and materialism than the need for true partnership. Hence the high divorce rates.
With globalisation and a more nomadic lifestyle increasing numbers are getting together - not getting married - because of common interests and values - the notion of LOVE is changing fast!! For many modern couples I suspect LOVE= Sex, Money, Convenience and Common Interest. I hope I'm wrong but !!!???

Yet at the end of the day I think men forget that women still want to feel a sense of security and interest on their part first.
