   Honestly, I don't really regret much of anything. There are only two or three things in my whole life I would do differently if I could go back and change them. Everything I have ever done (all the bad and good things that have happened to me) caused me to become the person I am today, and I like who I am today.

   No, they happened for a reason and they got me where I am today. You learn from them and move on. Regrets just hold you back.

   Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery.
   Generally speaking I don't dwell on the past. After all it is nothing I can do about it. Making mistakes is part of being human. No one is perfect. You have to take what you learn from your mistakes to improve your decision making process in the future. At some point you have to forgive yourself in order to move on with your life.

   I used to. But then I learned the Buddhist practice of useful regret. Now, when I make a mistake - and I think we all do, frequently - I feel the pain (regret, shame, guilt) deeply and fully. Then I make a vow to become clear on the root cause of my error, and not to make it again. Then I live in the joy of awareness of my vows to love life and live fully.

   I have no time, nor energy or desire to look back, re-live history or bring to mind unpleasant circumstances.  I regret nothing.  I am who I am today for having lived my life, fully aware of the good, bad and indifferent.  I have failed and succeeded, lived and learned and continue to grow each day. I am very blessed.
   The present is all we can know.  The here and now is precious and not to be wasted...not one moment.......and most of all, there can be no future by living in the past.

   One or two, of them...............I truly regret.............but for the most  part, they were simple building blocks, leading me to my own true self.
   
   And that is the way of the world.............learn and grow.

    No.  I'm a work in progress and I don't look at the past as any mistakes.  I have always made the best decision I could given the information and circumstances at the time.  I am content and happy with my decisions in life and I basically have no regrets.  Now, I don't want to relive my past, I'm glad its over and done with, but I don't sit around bemoaning any decisions I have made.
