   What are soulmates again? I think I did but I'm not with her, Do I have to be with her? Does it matter? Have you found yours? I am very confused.

      A soul mate, in my mind, is one you were meant to be with in this world.  Yes, I have been married to him for 34 years since high school.  Thanks for answering, although you are confused.

      Well, if you believe this person to be your soulmate, then I would think you would want to be with her?  Not sure what you are asking.  If she does not want to be with you, then she is not your soulmate.

      So I guess she is not then, I have not tried asking her yet. Since she is with someone else, but I really do (insert a better word than "like" here for a long time, its been a problem, but I never thought of it as one until now.

      Oh, okay, the one you believe to be your soulmate is with another and she does not know how you feel.  Just because someone is with another, that does not mean that person is her soulmate. If you tell her, then you will know one way or the other?

   Yes, I believe in soul mates and Thax to GOD, I have found my soul mate. In my opinion - A soul mate is one who loves you, understands you, trusts you and of course respect is very important. I think, I am lucky to find a soul mate.. What about you dear? Have you found?

   Yes, I've been lucky enough to have found my soulmate.  Someone who loves me and best of all understands me and puts up with me!  He started out as a good looking guy I wanted to get to know...once I did I was intrigued by how shy and gentle he was....that was 46 years ago and I couldn't be happier!  God certainly blessed me.

   Faith my soul mate found me.
   
   He lived next door to my first husband and I.
   
   We were friends with his family.
   
   He was 15 years old and admired me from afar because I was married.
   
   Three years later my husband left me for another woman. and got remarried.
   
   Eight months after my husband moved out, Dave was 18 by then.
   
   It was then he offered to go with me to the New York State Fair Labor Day Weekend.
   
   He told me he was in love with me, and I told him I had secretly loved him.
   
   This is the short version of the story.
   
   I did not think there was any hope for us because I was an older divorced woman with small children ages 6 and 8.  Society turned against us, it was just awful.
   
   But we loved each other so much we drove over the Pennsylvania State line and eloped.
   
   I dedicated our marriage to God, and we will celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary in May.  Also, today I am very close to Dave's father and two brothers (his mom has passed).
   
   He is the most wonderful man, very giving.  The love he showed me when I was so ill and in the hospital last November is unsurpassed.
   
   He took such good care of me when I came home because I was so weak I could not even put my own boots on or sit at the computer to check emails. 
   
   He is and remains my soul mate.  Never in a million years did I think we could ever be together.  He is the greatest miracle in my life and the most wonderful gift from God.
   
   I have learned the key to having a soul mate is not only do you love one another, you cherish one another.  That means kindness, not calling each other bad names, and settling a disagreement before you go to bed at night (The Bible reads to never go to bed angry).
   
   In answer to your question, yes, I believe in soul mates, so much so that I can tell by looking at other couples if they are or are not soul mates.
   
   One secret I've also learned:  If you have stars in your eyes, if you cannot stop thinking about being with that person, if you miss that person when you are not together, if you can't wait for your next date with that person, if your face lights up when you talk about that person.  He or she is definitely your soul mate.  this is just my opinion.  Blessings Sparklea

          I do believe in soul mates. I do think God will introduce us one day when the time is right. I apparently have not found her yet, or I would not be single. I just pray that it is meant to be.

    It depends how you define soulmate
    
    soul mate could be a good friend, a buddy, someone who knows your likes and dislikes and is willing to compromise.
    
    You can be married but he/she may not be your true soul mate.
    
    However for me, I have good friends on here and in my life, but as for a true loving united relationship, no not yet. However I know God has someone in mind for me very very soon. I am free from what I have encountered the last few years and thanks to God and now he will send me the one he figures is my life.

    Hello FAith,  I have not found him yet.   I am ready, and open to having him in my life and heart.  I have prepared my heart,  and I do know the type of man i can please and whom i would need to be compatible.   He is out there, and i await, with excitement  for his arrival.      I know i am ready for the one i will spend the rest of my days here with, til death.   God Speed his love to me.
