    Yes I do think people would rather be on their own or just going out with each other for the company. 

    It is more popular for couples to live separate lives and just go out with each other on the weekends.

    I think people still want to be in a relationship but without the commitment.

    No, because sometimes you want someone to be there, someone that really knows you and cares about you. You can always have different partners come and go but in a relationship. Your partner will get to know you and be there for you when you need them. So i think people are usually happier in a relationship that is unless they get their heartbrokens. But its is better to have loved and lost then to have never loved.

    If all the single people jumped into a 'relationship' for the sake of just being in one, a lot of them would be much more unhappy than what they were being single.

    Being single has its advantages and being married also has its advantages. The grass is greener on either side. The reason why many of us (including me) are unamarried is because we are afraid to commit and are emotionally unstable. We want the relationship to be like being single and at the same time like being in a relationship. it doesnt work that way, its one or the other. Initially you will like being single, but as time passes on, you will feel the sting of being alone, as iam feeling now. Iam seriously thinking about commiting, because its still not too late, because when you cross a certain age, its too late.
    I feel that being in a relationship makes you a better person, you will have an aim or focus in life. You will have someone to come home too. When you have someone who deeply loves you for who you are, you dont need to prove anything to anyone.
