Hello Rajan ~ The time of a person's youth, their most memorable experiences, build the foundation of life-long friendships, first experiences and implant in their minds particular memories. We can all look back and see how things have changed. Most people remember like to look back fondly at what perhaps has been lost, different and improved. What else do we have to talk about except our experiences? And all these memorable experiences are repeated over in our dreams.
Because things were so different back when they were younger. I jokingly use the phrase with my husband, "Back in my day..." because things now are different than they were ten years ago when I was, well, ten.
because that is what the know all about, they were in their prime and things was ok and good.
Good memories never fade remember.
For current life experiences, mankind only has his past to draw upon for a reference.
In our time refers to memories. It's a person's history. Everyone has an "our time" or "back in the day" time. Gives you a chance to look back and reflect on how things have changed. In "our time" could be childhood memories, high school memories, college memories, parenting memories, career memories, historical memories, fashion memories, etc...... I especially used to love stories my grandparents would share from their time. I hold those stories near and dear to my heart. I know my own children love when I share stories about myself. Makes them see me in a different light instead of just the grown up woman/mom standing before them.
Maybe i am too young to answer this "gotta wait for another 20years" then i might know.. =P
lol by the interesting question and interesting comments.... chao
because memories are often tinted with the best and forget the worst... i remember the great time I had when I was a toddler in the south of france, but i forgot how I used to cry myself to sleep because I was missing my family that I didn't see for 4 years!
i remember the sent of the fields, the touch of the Mediterranean sea on my skin, the kindness of my cousins and only remember how some of them treated me like a burden and never hid how annoying I was to them!
I still think the 70s and the 80s were way better than the 90s and the 2000s.
Why? Because they wre...or they seem to be from my vision and feeling of now.
I t could be subjectif but i totally believe from the bottom of my heart and mind that they were better times.. Os, i understand older people who say the same.
because in back in their time life is different..people who are born yesterday having this culture shock in this present time..that is why they always comparing before and present time..it is like a total 360 degree turn around of things happening right now than it was before!!!
It means, basically, when we controlled the voice of vote, when we were in control, when we were the young and strong, when we were the , cool, crowd.........when we set the scene for music, fashion, and play.
When the marketers, fashion designers, the musicians, the movie makers, the politicians catered to us.

Exactly why do old people wear their pants so high?I've noticed a trend among older people. It seems the older they get the higher on their waist, or in some cases chest, their pants are worn. Does the location of our waist go up with age? Or are these people unaware they can get pants that will...

Or is it not?Have you ever noticed how people can come up with different answer for that simple question? And sometimes they also come up with more than one answers.“I...
